Divided into two distinct residences, this duplex is perfect for two families seeking to vacation together while requiring their own sleeping and living areas. Our exquisite abode boasts two outdoor showers and a secluded patio complete with a dining area and fire pit. Nestled in a prime spot, it's only a brief stroll from Del Mar's unique dog beach, as well as local shops and eateries. HOUSE RULES \- MAX OCCUPANCY AT ALL TIMES: 10 \- QUIET HOURS: 9pm - 9am \- NO PARTIES, GATHERINGS, NO EXTRA GUESTS THAT OVER OCCUPIES THE HOME, OR EVENTS ALLOWED. Strictly enforced. \- THIS HOME IS PET FRIENDLY: There is a $50 pet fee per night, per pet. Up to 2 pets allowed. We only accept dogs. Please inquire about other pets allowed with our Reservations Department. Please note that on Airbnb these fees are collected after the booking has been paid and someone from our team will reach out to you to collect the pet fee. \- VIDEO & PHOTOGRAPHY: There shall be no video, still photography or film production of any kind without the express written consent of the owner. Fees apply. Smoking: All of our homes are very strictly non smoking indoors. You are welcome to utilize the patios and may smoke in areas where it is otherwise permitted. If there is evidence of smoking found within the home, a minimum fee of $250 will be charged to deal with any additional cleaning needed to mitigate the smell. \- SMOKING: This home and all Vacation Rentals by Kimberly properties are strictly non-smoking. Smoking of any kind is not permitted anywhere on the premises. A minimum $250 fee will be charged if evidence of smoking is found. There are extra fees for either of these add-ons when available. \- There are exterior surveillance cameras recording 24/7\. The cameras are located outside the driveway. CANCELLATION POLICY \- A thirty (30) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty, aside from a $500 restocking fee. \- Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment (not including deposit and cleaning fee). \- Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. If you wish to shorten your existing reservation with VRBKIM, and your reservation is further than 30 days away, we do charge a $100 restocking fee to make this adjustment. Parties and Overoccupancy Policy: \- If the guest violates any of our rules regarding noise, parties, or overoccupancy, and the host receives complaints from neighbors, a $500 fine will be imposed per occurrence. We mostly used the larger kitchen and living room. The layout accommodated more than one family which worked well for us. The minor problems we had: The living room ceiling leaked The kitchen window sill leaked The floors had a thin layer of sand on them when we arrived.
