What a fabulous property! The pictures, though enticing, don't do it full justice. Stone, tile, wood, and plaster are all you see in the beautifully crafted design, with spacious interiors, high ceilings and windows that maximize the view. The kitchen is well-equipped, so we enjoyed cooking (though we would have liked a way to brew coffee other than the small French press.) Pool was delightful. Overall, the villa met or exceeded our (high) initial expectations.More generally, our stay was in mid-late October, but the whole Deia area was still very crowded and busy so that parking almost anywhere was a struggle (if this was "shoulder season," it's hard to imagine what the high summer season looks like!) One tip: do your food shopping somewhere else before you arrive, or be prepared to drive to Soller or Valdemossa -- the one small grocery in Deia is a wildly-overpriced rip-off.
