LOG CABIN on a rushing trout stock creek.Beautiful setting with the creek in your backyard. You can hear the rushing waters from the back deck. Beautiful handcrafted red cedar furniture accents this beautiful Log Cabin. If you are looking for a Creekside retreat, you will love this. Elk Creek is listed as an Outstanding Resource of Water by state of NC and stock monthly from Mar-Aug. This log home offers serene setting along the creek, but yet convenient to areas of attraction like Boone (Appalachian State Univ.) and Blowing Rock(Tweetsie Railroad). It is a 15-20 min ride up the mountain to many restaurants and shops etc. The Blue Ridge Parkway and Leatherwood Stables (horseback riding) are within 10-15 min drive. The Cabin offers handcrafted red cedar and pine log furniture throughout and kitchen is equipped with all you will need for cooking and baking. A gas fireplace in the living room will surely take the chill out of the air in the winter but we also have central air and heat. You will find this very quiet and cozy.
