"Small in size but big in style. We absolutely loved our stay at the Old Sweet Shop. It is beautifully and quirkily decorated, making the most of its small size. It had everything we needed, including picnic chairs for the beach which is directly across the road, and retro sweet shop sweets for the kids. It’s the perfect location for exploring Deal. We loved opening the window to see the sun sparkling on the sea every morning. The only thing that would stop us going again is our kids getting too...

"The accommodation was very clean and had all the essential things to help complete our fantastic stay in Deal. Great location just off the coast. Kids loved the beach, carnival and crazy golf. While adults enjoyed letting kids roam while we had a sneaky beer in the local pub! Mark and Lara are excellent hosts. Looking forward to coming back."

"We were a group of 5 friends to stay in this wonderful house for the weekend. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. Very clean, everything we could need had been thoughtfully provided, it was fabulously decorated and a great location. Thoroughly recommend for a group or two families. Kids/teens would love the location and some quirks in the house like the loft reading area. Deal and this house are a wonderful weekend location."

"From the pictures it looks a lot bigger than it is. The stairs were extremely steep, with no hand rail. The spare bedroom has a big dip in the floor , and feels that in the near future someone could have a. bad accident. Not enough sockets, so hard to blow dry your hair . Having pebbles in the courtyard is unsafe and ungenic when you have a dog . It says you have parking outside but when you have to carry your suitcases over 100 yards that’s not outside.
