This condo unit is located next to the famous Sunglow Pier, in a quiet section of Daytona Beach Shores. This is a place where can enjoy the ultimate beach vacation in a relaxed and fun environment! The Sunglow Resort is located directly on the beach, so you can enjoy magnificent sunrises over the Atlantic Ocean each morning. There are miles of white sandy beach where you can spend your days swimming, fishing, surfing, boating, jet skiing, biking or just relaxing on the pool deck soaking in the famous Florida sunshine. This unit offers two bedrooms (king and queen beds) along with two full sized bathrooms with allow for maximum privacy. You may also use the pull-out couch. The unit can comfortably sleep six guests. Additionally, there is a fully equipped kitchen including a Keurig coffee machine. There is kitchen island seating and a dining room area, living room and a large private balcony with a great ocean view. This unit includes access to free Wi-Fi and Smart TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. The outdoor pool deck offers a swimming pool along with a hot tub and common picnic area that even has several charcoal grills for those evenings that you would enjoy a family cookout! On the pool deck on restroom, shower and access to the beach. One car is allowed to park on site - a parking pass must be displayed at all times. An additional car can park in the overflow lot if availability - see the front desk for a parking pass. If you check in after 5:00 pm Monday - Friday and after 3:00 on Saturday or Sunday, your keys and parking pass will be in the lockbox. This is a smoke free unit. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed on the property. Upon check-in, we faced our first issue, which should have forecast what was to come. The receptionist did not have any record of our name or reservation information. We had to show confirmation of our reservation and that we paid for the weekend. After several minutes of back and forth, we were finally given keys to access our rental. We had a funny feeling about everything but decided to go to our room anyway. Once we entered our room, we were greeted with the smell of trash, unmade beds, towels scattered all over the floor, sandy beach equipment everywhere, and old food in refrigerator. After contacting the front desk, it was revealed that a cleaning service was never hired to clean the space after former renters had left 3 days prior. To the receptionist’s credit, she was able to finally get the owner on the phone and promptly get a cleaning crew to do a quick session. The cleaning crew that arrived was super helpful & did their best. They did a great job, it was still challenging to not question the cleanliness of everything in the condo during our stay. Another issue we faced was that the VRBO listing stated that the pool was renovated as of 3/2024\. However, the pool was still under construction and not available for use (we stayed in 5/2024). Much of the back of the building was blocked off by a chain-link fence. This was very disappointing. Everything was a lie. ##### Lori S. Might I suggest some upgrades on the bed pillows along with some room darkening curtains in the master bedroom. Even though this is on the driving part of the beach, it was still relatively quiet at the time we were there.
