The Texan was the primary hotel for MTV Spring Break all the way through the 80's and early 90's. The condo - hotel has a lot of history and fun looking up the history and knowing what it must have been like at that time. We think the location is absolutely perfect. We are exactly 3/4 of a mile from the Board Walk. Along your walk to the boardwalk you have Landshark Grille, Crabby's, The Fountain Tiki Hut, and Ocean Deck!!! That's all before you even make it to the boardwalk. Once there you have SO many selections as well. We will provide you with a digital guide book once you book. This will help you start planning all the things you want to do. All of the above is heading north up the beach. When heading south, not much that way other than a long walk. But, driving to the south you will find all of your grocery stores and little breakfast shops. Also listed in our guide book Once here you will have a parking pass hanging in the condo for your vehicle. You MUST get this as soon as possible and please hang it from your rear view mirror. You will only be provided with (1) parking pass. The property only allows one vehicle per condo here. Parking is tight and heavily monitored as people try to park here to access the beach and many cars are towed because of it. But that's good for you as a guest with your parking pass. Means you should always have a spot. Also for access here, you will be provided (2) keys. These keys will be needed to access pretty much everything here. The keys will be your way in and out of the pool, the gate to the beach and to get back in to the pool area beach access point. There is also bathrooms on the main level by the pool and you will need your key to access that as well. Modern Coastal Getaway — Family-Friendly Oceanfront Condo Step inside our Daytona Beach condo and you’ll find a modern-industrial design that feels refreshingly different from home. We wanted something sleek, open, and thoughtfully designed—and we love how it turned out. There’s plenty of storage so you can fully unpack and settle in. The custom dresser, tall wardrobe, and lighted vanity mirror make it easy for everyone (especially the ladies and us “bougie” guys) to get ready without crowding the bathroom. The kitchen is one of our favorite features. Unlike most condos with tiny kitchenettes, ours includes a full-size, glass-top induction range with touchscreen controls—no knobs, no clutter, just clean lines and extra prep space. Whether you’re whipping up breakfast for the kids or a full dinner with ocean views, you’ll find everything you need without the chaos of random extras. We’re foodies ourselves, so if you’d like local recommendations for the best meat and seafood markets (way better than grocery store fare), just ask—we love sharing our favorites. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail on the private balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean—it’s the perfect spot to unwind while the waves set the soundtrack. transit is pretty easy here. Daytona Beach has both Uber and Lyft. We do suggest trying to have your own vehicle or rent a vehicle. A few amazing little towns near by worth the day trip to explore if you are able to. We will gladly help you plan a fun trip exploring up and down the Space Coast Beach towns. Early Check-in Policy Standard Check-in is 4:00pm. Early check-in may be available upon request and is subject to availability. Fee's apply and must be approved in advance. Please be mindful of making sure you buy canned drinks. Glass is certainly not allowed in the pool area. We have a Pelican 8 can cooler for you in the condo for packing up for the pool or beach. Trust me, it's easier to go refill the cooler instead of lugging a huge cooler. The 8 can works great LOL. The TV is a SMART TV so bring your PASSWORD's to your favorite streaming Apps.
