We were looking for last minute pet friendly accommodation close to Vincent street shopping precinct. This quirky converted barn fitted the bill.Clean, comfy, with a cooks delight kitchen, meant eating in was our preference. The rooms were split over 3 levels, creating interest and beautifully appointed in an eclectic style, with all the mod cons and with a TV that actually works! The property however is not gated so probably not suited for a dog that likes to wander, and the steps could be challenging to anyone with mobility issues. The downsides are, the garden is a shambles, the couches are extremely uncomfortable and the bed - although a king size (which is the main reason we booked the place) it's dreadfully uncomfortable, lumpy and badly needs to be replaced. They also suggest the place is pet friendly, it's not fenced so not good for dogs that need to be secure. It's way overpriced for the experience. We would not stay again. ##### Michele M. The only minor issue was that there was no fenced-off outdoor space outside the property and our dog had to be kept inside the whole weekend. As the property is advertised as "pet friendly" not having a space for our dog to sleep and roam outside during the day was a bit of an issue - in this regard, I think having a a fenced-off area adjacent to the front door would help. There were however a few niggling problems.
