A small area for dogs at the front is fully enclosed however the backyard is open. The location as a short walk to central Daylesford or Hepburn Springs is ideal to not need to drive much once you arrive, but a short drive and you’re in Creswick or Castlemaine. Walking Lake Daylesford was definitely a highlight. The property is an ideal base for a relaxing holiday. ##### Simon C. We travel with our dog and the amenities were good. My only criticism is that the cottage has a steep uneven set of steps to enter with a rather rickety hand rail.
