I have been hosting since 2018\. Welcome to Oak Cottage, a charming retreat nestled in the heart of Daylesford! Situated only a block from the bustling centre of town, you are close to Daylesford's cafes, restaurant and shops. Walk to Daylesford Lake, the Mill Market and the Lake House or take a short drive to nearby attractions such as the Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens, Hepburn Mineral Springs, and local wineries, cideries, and breweries. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family retreat, our cozy 2-bedroom home offers a peaceful escape surrounded by nature's beauty. Our home features two comfortable bedrooms, a spacious living area, fully equipped kitchen and balcony access with excellent views. The cottage has excellent heating, cooling and free wifi, ensuring you feel right at home. Enjoy complimentary tea and coffee in the kitchen, and feel free to indulge in our selection of board games, DVDs and books during your stay. You will have exclusive access to the entire home and surrounding gardens as well as off street parking. We have been hosting guests at Oak Cottage since 2018 on a different platform. Recently, the cottage was used as a private long term rental and we have now transitioned back to offering short-term stays. We are excited to welcome guests once again. Not a single hanger for clothes in sight. Neither a wardrobe Fridge full of owner's foods. Bedroom has only one drawer for us to put clothing in, the rest was full of bedlinen.Toilet drawers also full of owner's stuffs.That made me feel like sharing the house with others at the same time. It was in a great location being only a short walk to the lake and to the main street. The weather was cold, yet the place was very comfortable and warm. Although we didn't get a chance to play any games there were heaps of board games and DVDs. The kitchen was well stocked. There were two decent sized rooms and a good bathroom. It was perfect for a weekend away with my teenage daughter. The property owner communicated well with clear instructions given prior to arrival.
