« The house is absolutely beautiful! We had family gather for a wedding and it was the perfect spot to come together. The kids absolutely loved swimming, paddling, and fishing. The adults loved the views and opportunity to relax. Nestled in its own nook, the home invited many deer in which everyone enjoyed watching. Host is extremely proactive and great at prompt communication. Highly recommend this home for a relaxing stay. »

« Great place for a weekend getaway with family/friends. Owner is very responsive and easy to work with. House is nice and the teens really enjoyed the game room. Dock is a little dated and if you're traveling with little kids or seniors just be aware that the house has lots of stairs. Access to the lake is very close, but steep and uneven footing. Overall, highly recommend. »

« My family, consisting of 12 adults, stayed at this Big Canoe house. The home is in good shape and is described accurately in the listing. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are fine and the pantry had a nice supply of household items. We enjoyed the grill and the fire pit. »

« We arrived late on the first evening and had a bit of a hard time finding the sign directing us. Easy getting in, and all was as expected. Wine and snacks were a very nice touch. Outdoor area is lovely — great to have frig outside. New dock is very nice (there is an old one we wondered about but assumed that’s not the one!). Master bath is nicely redone; furniture and deck off master not cleaned in a while; other baths very old. Beds and thermostat worked great. For a large house, would be nice...
