  • Voyager Rest est idéalement situé pour profiter de l'incroyable beauté de la magnifique et sauvage Virginie occidentale! Il est situé sur un terrain privé de plus de 7 acres, dans la réserve faunique nationale de la vallée de Canaan; spécifiquement au sein de la communauté de villégiature fermée Old Timberline. Il offre une intimité totale à seulement quelques minutes d'innombrables activités de plein air. L'adresse de la propriété est la suivante: 949 Sand Run Road, Davis, WV 26260.

    L'intérieur de Voyager Rest est superbement fini avec des antiquités et des objets de collection du monde entier. C'est vraiment unique en son genre. Il comprend une grande cheminée à bois en pierre, des poutres en chêne, du parquet ancien en bois dur et en ardoise, des douches en pierre et des comptoirs en granit équipés d'éviers en cuivre faits à la main. Deux kayaks sont à la disposition des invités; un à chaque lac (s'il vous plaît voir orientation).

    La réserve faunique nationale de la vallée de Canaan était la 500 e réserve faunique nationale à être établie aux États-Unis. Le refuge préserve une vallée humide avec des zones humides et des hautes terres uniques à une altitude relativement élevée dans les montagnes Allegheny.

Voyager Rest is a great house with a wonderful view. It is very peaceful with no other homes right next door. The home is furnished with everything you need. Great outdoor space with seating and fire pit. Hot tub is relaxing looking at the wonderful views. Jim and Nichole are great host/hostess Communication is very efficient with quick response time.

This was a charming and comfortable base for biking and hiking in the Canaan Valley and areas beyond. We appreciated both the privacy of the bedrooms and the ample space in the living/dining room and kitchen. Nice views off the balcony, easy to use hot tub added to our enjoyment of the property.

Voyager Rest is a truly unique house. It is situated on over 7 lovely acres with amazing views. It is a secluded, quiet (except for birds singing), and relaxing location. The kitchen is particularly well equipped with most anything you would need. The covered deck off the living area was a favorite place to be for all of us.

Absolutely beautiful location. We spent a week here for our honeymoon and loved it! Very private with no neighbors. We were next to the creek and opened the windows at night to hear the birds and water. Enjoyed taking our kayaks to the lakes onsite and caught lots of fish. Cabin was extremely well maintained with beautiful architecture throughout and nice stone showers. Fireplace was perfect for chilly evenings. Would highly recommend, and hope to come back for an anniversary.

We loved everything about this cabin and would highly recommend it. The cabin was very clean and exactly as pictured. We enjoyed hiking trails nearby that had beautiful waterfalls as well as canoeing and fishing at the lakes in the area. The hot tub was amazing! The home owner Jim was very friendly and informative about things to do in the area.

Voyager Rest was beautiful, had everything we needed, and the host provided a very helpful guide to the place and the area before we arrived. We were also very impressed with how the driveway was maintained and accessible, since we arrived in the middle of winter and after a snow storm!

We have stayed at Voyager's Rest several times now and always enjoy our stay. It is comfortable and clean and the setting is gorgeous. We skied, hiked and enjoyed the hot tub. Jim is a great host and has given us grace on our arrival and departure times - which we appreciate! Looking forward to returning in 2027.

This place is absolutely perfect! There is so much charm and character, you have to see it to believe it! The beds are comfy, the showers are great and the hot tub was very clean and enjoyable. If you ever have the chance, you should go, you won’t regret it!Bonus: The owner was so pleasant to deal with!
