We spent Labor day weekend here. The kitchen was well stocked, had all utensils and it was very clean. Hot tub was very clean and amazing, kids enjoyed the hot tub and also they were able to ride their bikes around the neighborhood. It was quiet and out of the way. It was 12 minutes from Blackwater falls and easy to go around. Very scenic and relaxing place. The place was very well kept. The porch swing was amazing to just sit and relax. From the moment we checked in to the time we checked out, everything was perfect! We have been coming to Canaan for years at various homes and this is one of the most well equipped, clean homes and we couldn't be happier. We lacked nothing including crockpots, griddles and so many pans! We did buy an ice cream scoop and left it. Bonus.... Our hosts even left bandaids, Tylenol, wet wipes, toothbrushes and many more extras if we needed them. It was quiet and peaceful allowing us to enjoy the valley. We enjoyed the house, very comfortable beds, couches not so much and TV channel offerings were terrible, frustrating even. I was confused by the coffee pot situation and having to drive your trash to a dumpster was not ok.
