You can still use the pool without heating, of course. \*\* Only the guests who have been registered are allowed to stay in the property. \*\*\* Pool heaters are set to 86 prior to your arrival. The reached temperature will depend on the weather. Pool heaters run 12 hours during the day. No refund or compensation will be given if the pool heater does not work unless the guests paid for the heating of the pool and it is proven that there was a technical issue that created an inconvenience. The refund or compensation will never exceed the amount paid by the guest for the heating of the pool. \*\* This property is self-catering. A small starter kit is provided for your arrival, including 3 dishwasher tablets, 2 trash bags, 1 new sponge, 1 kitchen paper towel, 1 starter soap per bathroom, and 1 roll of toilet paper per toilet. Guests are responsible for purchasing additional supplies as needed during their stay. What to Expect Before Check-in Just like when you check in at a hotel, Florida law (Florida Statutes, Chapter 509.101(2)) requires a quick guest registration before your stay. We’ve made this process fully digital so it’s simple and secure, while also protecting both you and us from the scams that unfortunately occur in the Orlando area. Here’s how it works: After booking, you’ll receive a short online form to complete. You’ll be asked to upload a photo of your ID and a selfie holding the ID to confirm your reservation. For added security, we’ll also request a photo of the card used for the booking and a selfie holding the card—similar to how hotels verify your ID and credit card at check-in. Once everything is verified, we’ll provide your digital door code so you can go straight to your vacation home. Please note: at least one guest must be 21 years or older and present during the stay. Important: If registration is not fully completed as described above, guests will not be granted access to the property and no refund will be issued. A 5% processing fee applies to all cancellations (deducted from the amount already paid). (I’ve stayed in some homes that have these basics and some that haven’t. Not a big deal but just something to be prepared for.)
