The home has some great features — two bedrooms with direct deck access, a gas grill, a wonderful pool and back deck, comfortable beds, and bathrooms that were clean with excellent water pressure.That said, several issues made our stay less enjoyable. The floors in the main living area were extremely dirty on arrival — our feet turned black from walking barefoot, so we kept shoes on indoors — and the flooring itself is starting to come apart. We also had to re-wash several dishes that had been put away dirty. The refrigerator had a strong fish odor that we tried to clean and deodorize ourselves, but the smell lingered most of the week and was so strong it even permeated our food. While the owners did respond when we reached out, the issue was never resolved.The gas for the grill ran out after our second use. The owners offered to reimburse us if we purchased a new tank, but realistically guests should expect more than two uses from a tank or at least have a backup available. Be prepared to buy one if you plan to grill.Families should also know that the pool gate does not have a child lock. Finally, bring your own beach towels and pool/beach supplies, as these are not provided.Overall, Vitamin Sea has some very nice amenities and potential, but greater attention to cleanliness, upkeep, and guest convenience would significantly improve the experience. ##### Chris L. The pool is a nice place to relax after a day at the beach. The home has a very small starter pack so be prepared to purchase your essentials. The grill needs work. We could only get one burner to light. We ended up having to cook inside. I loved that every room had a bathroom for their own use. No games in home so bring if you enjoy that. Beds and pillows were comfortable. We contacted the proper number on Thursday May 16th and the guy said he would come out. He never showed and it never got fixed and therefore we had to going and buy ice. Four adults and 6 kids ranging 10-14\. The house was great, it has a great view out both sides and is newer which is a bonus. It seems to have a slight sway/rocking motion when the wind was high. We loved the pool area and the kids swam a ton. We never could figure out where the pool light switch was but it just seemed to turn on/off with a timer. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. They did include a few dishwasher pods to start off and a small bottle of dish soap and sponge. We had enough plates, pots and pans for all our meals. The gas grill was nice but the tank was about empty so we ran to refill it while waiting for Vacasa to get us connected with a local person and she reimbursed us for filling the tank. There were no coffee filters so we had to buy those and Ship & Shore really did have everything you could need which was nice. They should mention in the check in details email what they start you off with and what you might need to bring. If you drink coffee bring basket style filters. The table and chairs in the dining area was nice, but I hope they invest in some felt pads for the bottom of the chairs because they are heavy and scraping the floor boards. There was a dust pan but no broom and sand inevitably gets tracked in, there was a corded vacuum we used a few times. Also, switch the queen bedroom with the king in the “back” of the house so the two rooms looking ocean are king beds. ##### Jackie S. Fully stocked kitchen, sheets on the bed, towels in each bathroom. Great view of the bay and the ocean. Super short walk to the ocean (one street) and the pool was lovely! We wanted to control the pool lights and could not find a remote/instructions. That was the only thing! ##### Sarah B.
