Served as a perfect base for all of our adventures for the week. The slip worked well for our boat and the fish cleaning station was much appreciated. We used the kayaks at low tide to explore the salt marsh and collect a couple dozen mussels for a beautiful pasta lunch. Fishing at high tide from the dock worked well with a dozen live shrimp. And being able to bring our dogs along meant they could enjoy the quiet, peacefulness of the week with us. And we really appreciated Justin as a great host. Thank you. We will be back next year. It overlooks the Mississippi Sound and has its own pier. We had a lot of luck fishing from the pier. The provided kayaks were a nice addition to the visit, easy to launch from the pier. It is a beautiful home with lots of areas to relax whether inside or out. A lovely kitchen completely stocked with all the cooking essentials you could need. It’s a very spacious living plan. The view out back over the marsh is great, lots of birds flying around. We really enjoyed kayaking and exploring the area. There are food options within walking distance and so is the beach. Jun 28, 2025 #### Teen friendly getaway with lots of activities! We had a great time at the Tipsy Seagull. Our family (2 adults, 18, 13, and 13 friend), enjoyed the accommodations and on site activities. Sure we enjoyed the beach, mostly the West End Beach (both north and south sides). But we enjoyed the property even more! We kayaked, fished, played on a lilly pad, soccer in the large grassy area, and caught hermit crabs and other sea creatures. The view from the 2nd floor patio was top notch every night (with a glass of wine). Things I’d recommend: 1) Bring bug spray - some nights were totally fine and others we got chewed up. 2) Bring food - nearest real grocery store is 20 min. Most of the restaurants are seafood, fried food, or pizza/wings. Those looking for salads or veggies can look to The Carriage Market as our best find. 3) Enjoy the property!
