It was nice to visit somewhere a little off the beaten path but still not too far from the centre of the Hunter. The house was large with room for all of us and was so kid friendly with an outdoor playground and games for the kids. We appreciated the extra touches such as chocolates, wine and port. While the property is a little dated we liked the rustic charm. The kids had a ball playing on the hay bails and loved looking after the chooks. We enjoyed going for a nice countryside walk to visit the cows and horses too. The property was easy to get to. It was clean and well stocked with all the essentials. It’s super close to Pokolbin for wine tasting etc. it was cosy and Compton and it felt like home away from home. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you! ##### Jemma M. The verandah with it's incredible view of the valley and mountains beyond was my favourite seating spot. The kitchen set up was brilliant especially the big stove and oven.
