The property itself was great. They were doing renovations, but nothing was made inconvenient. The surrounding area is under heavy construction and it was difficult to maneuver around the building, parking, etc.

Omir was AMAZING. He was very polite and kept apologizing for the wait as there was a line of people checking in. With the renovations, the parking lot and front building is still needs a little work.

The room I reserved was stated to be accessible. When we arrived, they had rented out all of their accessible rooms. I’ve had knee surgery and am non weight bearing. A regular room on the third floor is very hard for me to manage. Extremely disappointed.

We've stayed at this particular location on several occasions. The property and staff were much better in times past. Beyond the hotel's control, two storefronts that totally block your view of the hotel have been built within the last six months. This makes it very difficult to locate the property without GPS. Our last two stays were marginal at best. It's understood that the hotel is undergoing renovation, but it has been an ongoing process for two years and it's far from complete. The contractors are not considerate of the hotel guests with there music blaring as the work, regardless of their proximity to guest's rooms. Our last stay was during the solar eclipse of 2024. When we booked, we only needed a single king. However, our need changed and a double queen room was needed. It's understood that the hotel was sold out during that time, but when we inquired about a possible roll-out bed or possible room change in case someone canceled, the front desk manager was very curt and displayed really bad customer service. The front desk clerk however, understood our need and politely notified us of an available room and completed the transfer. As often as we visit Allen, I don't see booking another stay at this particular hotel in the future.

Instead of the warm decor La Quinta typically hast this hotel has cold shades of grey contemporary decor throughout with harsh 5000K lighting. VERY unattractive IMO.

April 2024: The hotel is in an area surrounded by nothing but construction, which is fitting, as the hotel was also under construction (for a remodel), which was never disclosed to me as I booked it. Fortunately or not, I became ill at the beginning of my stay (NOT related to the hotel) and needed to leave early and the hotel staff were very kind and accommodating. Once the remodel is finished and the area around it is built up, it will be a great place to stay.

There’s construction but we weren’t told beforehand. The room hand a weird smell. The stairwell was disgusting. The elevator wobbled if you moved in it. The tv in the room didn’t work. We didn’t have towels in our room and when we asked the front desk she says she didn’t have any extra. There was no blow dryer in the room either. The room felt dirty along with the rest of the hotel.

as a cinstruction worker i was dissapointed at how much trash and construction material was around the property. i did read the reviews ao was not surprised but felt they could have taken more time to and effort to limit how it impacted the guests. spent 4 months living in a house in north carolina while doing a massive rennovation so i feel more coukd have been done. its mostly on the contractor but hotel staff needs to do better at naking them do better. room was clean and comfortable so met that need. on the room maintenance they need to use the right color and finish of oaint to do touchups. what they did was deplorable and that contractor should be embarrased at the quality of work

In the app or when you making reservations they should mention that property is remodeling to let people think about with all the chaos the construction is doing. The noise the dust… people were sanding down hallway next to the temporary breakfast area was being served!!!! I’m sorry but if I knew that was going to happen I would have booked in another hotel.

The property was under construction at the time of our visit, so this did add an unexpected setting for our stay. However, the hotel manager was very friendly and accommodating, even getting us into our room almost two hours early since we were from out of town. If you can be patient with the fact that they are remodeling, then it really is a nice place to stay!!

The property was under heavy construction. The whole first floor was torn up and being redone with trash and equipment stacked up. Pool was inaccessible due to contraction and clutter. Breakfast was served in a small room with construction material taking up a good part of the room.

Confusing as it appeared to be totally under construction. A big sign out front would be beneficial. The one they have, was missed on my first drive through. Add this to the fact that many several floors appear to be unoccupied, made me wonder if it was even open currently. However, my room is nice and I’m sure the hotel will be beautiful once construction is completed.

Great Hotel!
We have stayed here many time and even while having construction going on still a great hotel! We had a suite on 4th floor and it was wonderful. Staff very friendly. Its going to be so beautiful when construction is done.

There was construction being done around the hotel and it didn’t even look like it was open when we first arrived. The room was nice, but all down the hall way in smelled of weed like someone had been smoking it the whole stay.

Under construction
Hotel is under construction so there is no lobby area right now. The stairwells were filthy, with old food on the ground and weird smells all around. Our room was fine but the rest of the hotel was not in great shape.

They were repairing the whole hotel so it was empty, dusty and smelled like paint fumes. The water never got hot stayed ice cold for showers. The staff was friendly but the whole place was torn apart. A warning they were redoing the whole place would have been nice when booked.

The staff were great at check-in. They were very friendly throughout my stay. They were working on the lobby, but it did not take away from my trip. The breakfast was good and parking was easy. When I am in the area, I will stay here. The price and service were beyond what was expected.

While the room was nice, and the staff was amazing, this property is under major construction. This information was with held from us and if we would have known, we would have booked elsewhere. Not happy about our stay at all. Be transparent with the condition of your property.

There was no soap in bathroom, neither at sink or shower. Walls so thin I heard neighbor's tv very clearly and on other side heard neighbor snoring. Construction on 3 sides of bldg-- extremely loud and dusty. Way to get to hotel was extremely confusing and dangerous in the dark-- don't trust Google gps instructions.
