The home is proactively monitored with decibel sensors for compliance with this noise policy. Self-service garage parking is available in the building next door ($17/day; \~$125/month). Long-term stays (30 days+): Long-term guests will be subject to a background search and credit check. Note that all guests are required to submit a $150 security hold on a credit card in case of incidentals that is released 3-5 days post check out or may choose a $35.00 non-refundable damage waiver. There were detailed directions sent to us ahead of time along with parking options and photos of where to go. When we got into the apartment, the air conditioning was not working and after a quick email to the staff, we were reassured that it would be resolved quickly. I went back to review the listing and it does say this is a pet free property. That just means guests can’t bring pets? The smell was absolutely terrible. When getting settled in the unit we found dirty underwear (mens white underwear with feces all over them) in one of the bathrooms. It was requested I send a photo but the VRBO messaging platform does not allow for uploading images or documents. There were not trashcans in the bathrooms, there were no hand towels in the kitchen, one of the beds was not even made with sheets. There was just a duvet on top of the mattress pad. The unsanitary condition of the unit was unacceptable. This was also what we experienced after we were called the day of check in to notify us that the cleaners would require additional time and we wouldn't be able to check in on time. We requested a full days refund since we were not able to check in and that request was declined. We were provided a refund of our cleaning fee that was charged. There was supposed to be a key fob for us to access the amenities provided with the rental. There was not one and we were not able to use any of the advertised amenities during our stay. One was never provided during our stay and I requested a refund of our service fee, as we felt the service we were getting was not what was advertised. This request was declined.
