Watch out for Cabin Fever! Once you visit, you won't want to leave! This dog-friendly (pet fee applies\*) three-bedroom cabin sits just outside of downtown Dahlonega and the University of North Georgia. The amenities do not disappoint—from the game room (ping pong, pool, air hockey, darts, foosball) to the hot tub and fire pit, you won't get bored or need to leave. This three-story cabin is great for groups that like to spread out. The upstairs loft features a king bed (no bathroom). The main floor also features a bedroom with a king bed, its own TV, and a bathroom off the hallway. The living room on the main floor features a wood-burning fireplace and walkout French doors onto the covered porch. On the lower level you will find a TV room with a 70-inch TV, and a sunroom to enjoy your morning coffee. Sleeping options on this level include a daybed in the common area for additional sleeping (twin with twin trundle), and a master suite with a king bed and its own bathroom. Hang out in the game room, under the string lights in our six-person hot tub, or roast some s'mores around the firepit. Long stays: If your stay is longer than 10 days, extra fees may apply. Please inquire before booking. Property Notes: \- The driveway allows for up to four cars, but it is one only one car wide. There is room to park two additional cars off the side of the road if necessary. Parking is not allowed in the garage as it is used as the game room. Parking in the garage will result in a $250 fee. \- The loft bedroom is set back enough to have privacy, but it does not have a door. Important things to know: • Dogs are allowed with our dog fee of $85 plus tax per pet. If you've added dogs to your reservation, one pet fee will be included and we will manually charge for additional dogs after booking. Please inquire before booking if you have more than 5 pets. • There is a $27 damage protection waiver included in the base rate for this property. It covers guests for up to $500 in accidental damages, if guest reports damage that happens during their stay. Intentional damage, unreported damage, or anything exceeding $500 will be charged to the guest's payment method. • Our cabin has a drip coffee maker and a Keurig. We provide both types of coffee. • We offer firewood available on-site to purchase for $10 per bundle (including tax). We can also arrange a delivery of 50 pieces for $60 (including tax) if you let us know 7 days in advance of your stay. Please message us if you are interested. • We have a charcoal grill, but we do not provide charcoal. • Check-in is at 4 p.m. and checkout is at 10 a.m. Early check-ins are possible, but subject to availability and a $25 per hour fee, rounded to the nearest hour. Late checkouts are generally not available, but if we are able to make an exception, the fee is $25 per hour. • The address will be sent to you at the time of your booking, and your check-in information will be sent to you two days out from your stay. • This listing uses a dynamic pricing algorithm; prices are updated daily. Feb 10, 2025 #### You Get What You Pay For..Fees as much as the Rental itself Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was looking for a last minute cabin close to town. That it is. The parking situation was very strange and on a dangerous curve. Also the house was very chopped up as if part of it was an after thought. I invited several of my couple friends for my anniversary trip. It was very difficult to all be in the same room together. It was very cold so we burnt a fire but really couldn’t enjoy it because there was no other entertainment upstairs. The living room with the fireplace doesn’t have a TV and the space downstairs that has a TV wouldn’t be a place that you would want to hang out. This is the first place I have ever stayed where I never turned on a TV. There was an electric fireplace downstairs in the bedroom which would have been better utilized in the TV room. The gameroom was an outdoor garage and never got over 50 degrees so basically was unusable. I could see in the summer it might be nice...winter not so much. Also the top bedroom is a loft so no privacy there. On a positive note, the cabin was clean.
