« The rooms were renovated but there were some things they never did to make the reno complete. The vent exhaust cover looked terrible it was screwed in with drywall screws and cracked , the water supply pipe was rusted and the cover plate was rusted as well . No exhaust fan working o bathroom . »

« We stayed at the Locke Inn for my cousins wedding and it was perfect for our large family! It was walkable to down town dade city and less than a 4 min walk to The Venue, where they got married! It was fully stocked with extra toiletries, water, towels, for our big group. Loved having so many bathrooms and we didn't feel like we were on top of one another. We loved all of the small details that were added about the history of the place and the decor was top notch. My only suggestion would be...

« Duck Haven was the perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I. We were able to explore during the day and have a nice and cozy apartment to come back to at night. I loved being able to look out our window and see the sheep, and looking at the horses as we pulled up the driveway. Dona was a very accommodating host, and her tour of the sanctuary on the property was so interesting and fun! »

« This place was a great place to stay, we had such a relaxing time and the kids had plenty to do. There were kayaks to use and we went fishing and relaxed by the fire. They even set up a projector outside and they had popcorn and which was a huge hit with the kids. Only con I would say was the camper could have been a little bit cleaner and I would say to bring your own blankets and sheets. Overall, we had a great time and Sandra was so responsive and helpful for whatever we needed. »

« Amazed with the cleanliness of the apartment and friendliness of the owners. The apartment is a converted barn/horse stalls and they did a great job making it feel like home away from home. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot, and even a crock pot! We toured the sanctuary on our 2nd day and Dona’s passion for the animals shined as she told us about each one and her efforts to conserve some of the species she houses. We cannot wait to return. »
