The beach right in front is rocky, so no swimming there — but if you walk just two minutes to the left, you’ll find the calmest, most swimmable ocean waters, right in front of Mamitas. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. It was my 45th birthday, and they absolutely made my week. Extremely generous, attentive, and genuinely caring — I couldn’t be happier. "Standard all inclusive, good variety of food items to choose from though some inconsistencies from day to day and they seemed to run out of a number of items each day. My room was kept spotless and housekeeping was pretty respectful of some afternoon work meetings I had to take and fridge restocked daily for which I greatly appreciated. I extended my trip by a day due to flight delays and had to downgrade my room due to full occupancy which was totally understandable but I was able to recheck in to my new room within an hour of checking out and they were even willing to let me sit on the beach while I started to wait out my first flight delay. "
