Close to all the Attractions. Enjoy your stay in our quaint 16x20 cabin. The cabin is beautifully located in a valley surrounded by hills and rock formations. Cabin is fully furnished with a small kitchenette area, queen size bed, sitting area with couch and bathroom with walk-in shower. The kitchen is supplied with all your cooking needs. Cabin comes complete with a coffee maker, microwave, stove/oven and refrigerator. A flat screen TV and DISH and WiFi is also in the cabin for your entertainment. Enjoy the scenery at the picnic area, where you'll find a picnic table and outside grill. You may see wildlife. Deer, turkeys, and a variety of birds frequently visit the property. Ideal location - only 15 minutes to Mt. Rushmore, 2 minutes to Crazy Horse Memorial and 8 minutes to Custer State Park. If you enjoy biking, the Mickelson Trail is right up the road, 1/2 mile away! Great view of Crazy-horse Memorial when leaving cabin. Quiet and nestled in the woods. We pulled up and had 3 visitors greet us. Host was great to communicate with. We highly recommend staying here!! If you’re looking to explore the national and state parks in this area and don’t like to move from place to place during a vacation, the location of this cabin couldn’t be more ideal (including to Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Devil’s Tower, Spearfish Canyon, and Custer State Park). Regarding the cabin itself, I liked it so much that I cut my last day short in the parks to go back and soak up the coziness and comfort of the cabin. Perhaps most importantly, the owners, Aaron and Michelle, are sweet as pie. Aaron’s pre-trip communication couldn’t have been better. Also they’re right next door or an easy phone call away in case you need them for any reason (I didn’t). In sum, I loved this place and would recommend without hesitation.
