We were told On check-in that there was construction directly above our room. (We arrived Friday at 4pm). They said they had no other room to move us to. We were assured there would be no construction after 5 pm or on Saturday. Construction was well after 5pm and on Saturday! We called the desk - they said they’d call us back. No call back, still construction. The room was dirty. The rooms that were available were not very clean or nice! The pool was closed due to maintenance, but nothing was going on with it. Right in the middle of the summer!!! Lots of sketchy people hanging out around the rooms. This was an inexpensive option for a weekend stay to visit family. Culpepper is a very neat place to shop and eat. There were noisy guests and trucks in lot, but could happen everywhere. Staff was very cooperative and friendly. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay is comfortable and happy. They also take excellent care of their pool. Our room was very clean. The house keepers there make daily visits to fix beds, take trash etc.. we also loved that it included tickets per each guest to enjoy complimentary breakfast at Peppers Gril. Their food was so good.
