Welcome to Destination Outdoors - Holly Hideaway, a cozy yurt nestled on 100 acres of private North Carolina mountainside. Perfect for two, this glamping spot offers a plush queen bed, a private deck with breathtaking views, and a kitchen nook with mini fridge and microwave. Enjoy endless outdoor fun right at your doorstep! ◆ Private deck with stunning mountain views ◆ Kitchen nook w/ mini fridge & microwave ◆ Access to shared bathhouse w/ hot showers ◆ Pet friendly with plenty of space \*Keep in mind there is no AC or heat, but most weeks in the summer it stays cool up in the mountains. We also have a space heater and heated blanket for the colder months. The driveway is steep but if you are familiar with gravel mountain roads 2WD is fine. Otherwise we recommend AWD or 4WD. Explore miles of private trails leading to mountain top sunrises and sunsets, play disc golf on a 9-hole course, or try fly fishing in the nearby Tuckasegee River. Relax by the campfire, float down the river with your own tube, or take a private mountain tour with your host. This yurt is your gateway to an unforgettable Smoky Mountain adventure. ◆ 100 acre reserve for hiking, biking & wildlife ◆ Two mile private trail to scenic mountain peak ◆ Nearby river for tubing and fishing ◆ Close to local attractions and outdoor activities ◆ Option to camp nearby with your own tent You have full access to the yurt, private deck, and all trails on the property. The bathhouse is shared with guests from our other yurt. Please feel free to contact us at any time. We are here to assist you with anything you may need! The bath house is shared with guests in our other nearby yurt. This is a pet friendly property and a pet fee applies at booking. The yurt has little insulation so please pack warm clothing in winter. We provide a space heater and heated mattress pad for your comfort. If temperatures drop below freezing and you prefer not to stay we gladly offer a full refund. For larger groups consider booking our other yurt Summerset Ridge just 300 feet away.
