"The host was very responsive and helped with information. The rental was clean, a little dated, but overall acceptable. There was so much room for people to spread out. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked wonderful. The lid was off when we arrived so we left it that way, not knowing if they had done that for a reason. "

"Very spacious and each room had door to the porch which was great. The screen porch on the side was perfect to get away from the cool breeze but still able to view the ocean. The location was perfect with a great view of the ocean and area. We were able to watch the horses from the deck and even in the pool. Check in and out was very easy and hosts were great. "

"Our stay at the Hemingway was incredible! This oceanfront home is truly one of a kind—spacious, beautifully maintained, and designed for both comfort and fun. With 14 bedrooms and plenty of living space, it was perfect for our group to spread out while still feeling connected.The amenities were outstanding. We loved the private pool and hot tub, and the direct beach access made it easy to enjoy the sand and ocean anytime. Inside, the home had everything we could ask for—multiple gathering areas, a fully equipped kitchen, Smart TVs, and comfortable bedrooms with private baths.The location in the 4x4 area is unforgettable. Watching the wild horses roam freely right by the property was magical and something you don’t experience anywhere else. It added a sense of wonder to the trip that we’ll always remember.Check-in was smooth with keyless entry, WiFi worked well, and the host was excellent—responsive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed.The Hemingway is more than just a vacation rental—it’s an experience. Perfect for large families, groups, or special events, and one we’d absolutely return to again."

"We had a great vacation at this house. The house is spacious, comfortable, felt clean and well-maintained. The proximity to the beach, and the views of the beach from the house were phenomenal. We also saw horses right outside the house almost every day. We enjoyed playing the board games and doing the puzzles as a family every night. Communication with the host was also good. The downsides to the house for us were that the beds were small, the water pressure in the shower was weak, there were a lot of ants in the kitchen (we had to use ant spray and ant traps and keep all our food sealed up carefully), and the WiFi buffered a lot at night. But for us, these things were outweighed by the excellent location, fair price, amazing views, and spaciousness of the house. We would definitely stay here again! "
