Bring your family to this fantastic 3 bedroom townhome that is priced right and only a short walk 70 yard walk to the base area. Walk right out your front door and be on the slopes in just a few minutes. With parking located right in front of this unit there is no need to carry luggage a long way. In fact you may want to stop and take in the commanding view of Mt. Crested Butte which is directly in front of this home. The first floor of this property has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two sets of twin bunks. They share a full bath just outside in the hall. Up one flight is the heart of the home with the living, kitchen, and dining. Warm up to the fire on a chilly night or sit out on the deck and look at the fantastic views of the slopes and Mt. Crested Butte. With the great location of this property hiking is just out your front door in the summer and skiing in the winter. The kitchen has a gas range for all the cooks in the family and the dining table looks out the living room windows to the spectacular views. There is a half bath on this level as well and a full size stackable washer and dryer. Upstairs you will find the master suite with private bath which is the whole third floor. There is a king bed and private deck which takes in the views of Mt. Crested Butte for that morning cup of coffee. Outside you will find a community hot tub just steps from this unit. We could not get the cable to work in the bedroom downstairs, but we didn't contact management given the short duration of our stay. The location was excellent with a great view of the mountain, a 3 minute walk to the main base area, and a 2 minute walk to the town shuttle. Once we arrived, we didn’t need our vehicles again until we left. The condo itself was great with plenty of space for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids. I was told there was not a place to secure luggage while we had to wait. We finally placed our bags in the entry area. Our shuttle driver helped us find this area. The starter kit should be expanded, especially for toilet paper and paper towels. Having to purchase items that are considered essentials should not have to be purchased by guests. If you aren't afraid of a hill and some powder you can ski right up next to the building! It would be tight for 8 adults but 4 adults and 4 kids would be perfect. My only suggestion is to put more info about parking on the listing. You only get 2 passes and there is no nearby overnight parking. It was suggested that we park a car down in Crested Butte, leave it over night, and move it daily to prevent towing which is not a very realistic option. For management, it might be worth discussing a parking pass with the resort that could be purchased in addition to the 2 that come with the condo. Parking in CB and moving daily is not a good option. ##### Keith H. The Condo was clean, and the kitchen was well supplied. Better than most properties we have stayed at. Great location... less than a 100yd from Mountaineer square. So you can easily catch the shuttles to town or Gothic. Just as close to the base area at Red Lady and Silver Queen. We had one minor issue with the coffee pot leaking, and it was immediately replaced by the property manager. Quick and responsive. We really like the layout with 2 rooms on the first floor. The second floor had the kitchen and living area. This made for a larger living area than many of the condos at the base (we’ve stayed at quite a few). The third floor had the master suite. It was nice for our kids to have their own floor with a full bath, and a half bath. We went in the summer, but noted the entry has ski racks. As well as being arranged as a mud/wet room. So plenty of coat racks, ski racks, and a bench. Someone set this up that understands no matter what season you are in CB you are dealing with wet conditions: rain, mist, snow, etc... almost daily. Nice to have a property setup to accommodate this challenge. We never had cause to use the heat, but noted there were separate thermostats in every room. Even the bathrooms had a separate thermostat. My guess is that they have a tankless water heater... as we never ran out of hot water. We would definitely book again. ##### Jeff M.
