It's a pleasant 5 minute walk to the heart of historic downtown Crested Butte with shops, galleries and restaurants and just two blocks away is the free ski bus stop. Be sure to check out the Center for the Arts’ Alpenglow, a free outdoor concert series on Monday evenings during the summer, located only one block from the house. The house has two bedrooms and one full bathroom located on the first level plus a washer dryer closet. Both bedrooms have queen beds. The second floor has an open plan with the kitchen, dining, and living area where you can relax and enjoy the large back deck overlooking the yard. The second half bathroom is also located on the second level. There is a queen sized sofa bed in the living room for additional guests. The kitchen being located on the second floor allows the cook to still be part of all the fun while enjoying the scenery. Kitchen equipped with refrigerators, 2 freezer drawers for optimum counter space, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, garbage disposal and all cookware & dinnerware. Windows surround the upstairs living/dinning area and kitchen keeping it bright and sunny. Amenities include television with Amazon firestick, board games and wi-fi. The bathroom is stocked with plush bath towels, hair dryer and extra toiletries available. Relax on the porch with a beverage or prepare dinner on the gas grill while enjoying the backyard and the many Humming birds that often visit the house for a sip from the feeder. The duplex's shared backyard is fenced and nicely landscaped with flowers and mature aspen trees, as well as a flagstone walkway & patio seating area. The large grassy area is perfect for our four-legged visitors. There is a gravel driveway as well as parking in front of the house, although a vehicle is unnecessary since everything in town is within walking distance and the shuttle (two blocks from house) will take you up to the Mt. The home is in a quiet , nice neighborhood, only 1-1/2 blocks to Transit Center an easy walk with skis and boots to catch the Town Ski Bus Shuttle to the Resort. Off-street parking was perfect as we rode the free town bus or walked everywhere the whole trip. The condo is a little small but completely serviceable when you really only lounge upstairs and sleep. A great open floor plan upstairs allows for easy chatting with friends and other guests. It was a comfy spot and super centrally located. It has lots of light to enjoy a nice summer day with a cool breeze. The cooking amenities were perfect too. The backyard was great for taking out our pup or hosting a wedding rehearsal. Nice place, perfect for one or two couples. Fenced in yard was a plus. Kitchen had what it needed, beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. There is another unit in the front of the house but we never heard any noises and hardly knew anyone else was there. The yard is shared. ##### Nitra L. We stayed here for a few nights with our young children (5 year olds) and had a great time! This rental is in a great location- short walk to Elk Avenue and easy access to all other things Crested Butte, and the local grocery store is also nearby. For the kids, there are 2 different playgrounds super close by (one just a street over from this rental), and the CB children’s museum is only about a 5-10 min walk from the house. This unit is well appointed with all the essentials plus fun extras like games (for kids and adults), some books, adult townie bikes, etc. We also enjoyed the firepit and the host provided plenty of wood. The host was very responsive and helpful from the time of booking to the end of our stay, she even helped us find a reliable local sitter. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would love to book again! ##### Natalie I.
