(1,000 reviews) We stayed here for one night as we traveled through Alaska. We were put into the historical wing which is codeword for hasn't been renovated or cleaned in decades. The room was full of dust, did not have hot water, sheets and pillows cannot say how clean they were, and the bathroom/shower is shared in the hallway. The shared bathroom/shower we were aware ahead of time. The photos are certainly misleading, and the price was not worth the accommodations. Other hotels are cheaper with better quality. Staff could not explain where additional parking was, just said it was up the road, but at night there is no clear signage. They said to just street park instead, but need to move the car by 8am. The surrounding areas of hotel seward are nice in the town.
