The cosy fireplace, with a generous supply of wood, created the perfect warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it feel like a home away from home. The location couldn’t be better - peaceful, convenient, and surrounded by charm. Everything about the stay felt comfortable and relaxing. We’ll definitely be coming back again, and I can already see this becoming one of our favourite go-to spots. »

« Super helpful staff went above and beyond to make our stay easy and comfortable. Being able to rent simple, reliable snow gear directly from Carinya at a very decent rate took a lot of hassle out of our trip. Room was clean and quiet and we loved the bonfire, but the unexpected gem was the restaurant where the friendly, easygoing staff fed us delicious, traditional Indian food at about half the price of what we'd pay in Canberra or Sydney. « Accomodation fit our budget and schedule for a few days. Booking additional car parking is recommended as there was a fair walk from Thredbo with a lot of steps. There is a courtesy bus that we gratefully used after walking Kosciuszko Staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed having snacks and drinks in the lounge with the fire (and world cup tv) The drying room was great as our clothes were very wet »
