The Neighborhood: This area is located on a family resort, nestled between natural lands with lots of wildlife. Please be aware that because the number of birds that are living at the resort bird droppings can be a frequent occurrence around the resort. In case you encounter a snake please notify us, and we can get it removed. Other Things to Note: A convenient, self-check is available for this property. Please note that the pool is solar heated only, and on colder days is not able to keep up with the surrounding temperatures, and therefor might not be suitable for swimming. The spa is set to 38 degrees, and available throughout the year. All Linen and Towels are provided for and is part of the Cleaning Fee, all Linen is professionally washed and dried after each reservation. We left after just one night. On arrival, we found cleanliness issues (crumbs, hair and bugs in the bath, hair in the bed linen, and unclean dish items), very limited cutlery, and no laundry detergent, which made things difficult with a baby. The main bed seemed broken and creaked loudly with any slight movement, and the bedrooms were very cold at night. The outdoor play equipment was run down, and the indoor play area (a main reason we booked) was closed, even though we were told it would be open during the day when we asked after receiving check-in information. Recently reopened but comfortable cabins on a large site with lots of space for the kids to play, good layout and the cabins don’t feel on top of each other. Lots of wildlife around and behind the site. Location is just outside of Cowes and has a solar heated pool, bbqs and playground.
