This labor of love was a full gut remodel that we completed ourselves (along with a few other tradesmen) in Nov 2023 with the goal of updating to today\`s standards while preserving the history and charm of Cottonwood for a magical guest experience. We hope you’ll feel as at home as we do here! Perfectly situated off of Main Street, the home provides walking access to Old Town Cottonwoods tasting rooms, shops, and restaurants! Just 25 minutes into Sedona and 20 minutes to Jerome. This home is your ideal base for exploring all that Cottonwood and it’s beautiful surroundings has to offer. We can\`t wait to welcome you! ★Notes★ While this home is pet friendly, there is a dog next door that sometimes barks. If you plan to bring your dog outside to the gated area, know that there is also a dog next door. For heating and cooling, the house is fully equip with mini splits in every single bedroom and living area so you’ll be able to easily control temp as you wish! While we ask for no shoes, the floor is cold so we encourage house slippers or thick socks! We’ll be working on providing complimentary slippers by January stays. ★ PETS ★ We allow up to 2 pets with an additional $100 pet fee to cover extra cleaning. For more than 2 dogs, please inform us in advance; as an extra fee of $50 per dog will apply. ★ REPORT DAMAGES ★ If anything breaks, notify us immediately through the app with a photo. Failure to report damages will result in a $150 fine plus repair costs. ★ NO SMOKING or VAPING ★ Smoking or vaping (including marijuana and tobacco) are NOT allowed inside or on the patio. A $500 fee applies for any evidence of smoking. ★NO PARTIES ★ No parties inside or outside the property since this is a quiet residential neighborhood. Noise must be minimal after 9:00 PM - 7AM. While we were here, the temps were 106-108 but the house is nice and cool and spacious enough to hang out in all day until game time. It is a peaceful neighborhood and so convenient. We walked everywhere until it was time to check out, it was close to everything we needed! The home has cozy beds and couch and a fully stocked kitchen. It’s literally steps to Old Town which we frequented. Also, if you are staying with a pet who is picky and doesn’t like to go potty in anything but grass, there are two green spaces within a couple minute walk. Highly recommended! Interior is spacious, clean, and inviting. The location is in walking distance to downtown restaurants and tasting rooms. Property owners were very easy to communicate with, easy check-in and out. We had an amazing stay in downtown Cottonwood, just a short walk from Main Street. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore all that Main Street has to offer. Our host was incredibly responsive and answered all our questions promptly. The house was immaculate and fully stocked with everything we needed. It was the perfect spot for our family and friend getaway for the night. We will definitely be back to stay again! ##### Rita E. It's a short walk to Downtown Cottonwood and a short drive to a variety of attractions, stores and places to eat. The communication with the host was great as was check-in & check-out. The only issues we had were with the cleaning crew and a few minor inconveniences.We found multiple hairs on the sheets of one of the beds. A photo was taken and sent to the host. Wash cloths were not available for the showers nor was there enough toilet paper left in the bathroom cabinets for a group of 4 people staying for 4 days. Neither door of the restrooms latched when closed which made it very uncomfortable for anyone using the restroom, but we made it work. The host has been informed that neither door latches and hopefully that will be fixed soon. Overall, it was a great location for our needs, and we would stay again if all concerns are addressed. ##### Zenis S. It has been beautifully redone/appointed and has all that you need for a wonderful stay. The mini-split ac systems were great! A great introduction, even in June, for visitors who had never visited Arizona before. The Cottage was roomy, pretty clean, very quiet, pretty well organized and fairly well equipped. We appreciated the location which was walkable to downtown and had easy access to supermarkets, major highways/roads to sights.
