![If you're close to Uvita, check the tide schedule and get down to the beach! Humpback whales raise their young in Marino Bellena as the waters are shallow and warm and they feel safe. Coincidentally, at low tide, the beach forms a "whale's tail" shape, and it's stunning to see.

« Clean modern room, best shower in Costa Rica at this pricepoint. Fast wifi with excellent coverage. No AC, but room is designed for that with large screens just below the ceiling and a big overhead fan. We stayed for two nights when day time temps were in the upper 80s on the beach, and we were very comfortable at altitude with the breezes from the ocean. The host, Lori, is a gem. The property is gorgeous and meticulously well kept. You will get full use of your rental car's 4x4 on the road to...

« My friend and I stayed here on this gorgeous mountaintop gorgeous location for 4 nights. The owners, Lori & Bobby were fantastic hosts welcoming us as we arrived and made us feel at home. Once there we upgraded to the main house with the pool and ocean view. Well worth it! You must have 4 wheel drive! As you do for most places in Costa Rica. ;) Thank you for all your information and sharing all the beautiful birds and wildlife with us. »

« Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce B&B. Nous avons eu un accueil très convivial avec beaucoup d’attention, une présentation de l’hôtel, des informations sur les choses à voir. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons eu la chance de voir beaucoup d’oiseaux (aras, toucans…), des singes devant l’hôtel et même une maman paresseux avec son petit tout en haut d’un arbre. La plage est très proche de l’hôtel, c’est une très belle plage mais il faut faire attention aux courants. Le petit déjeuner nous a été servi...

"Maison bien équipée avec une vue splendide. Explications fournies par la propriétaire pour atteindre la maison très claires. Par contre route d'accès cahotique sans 4x4 et longue (5km). Une fois qu'on a atteint la maison, on n'a pas très envie de ressortir dîner."

" Chalet avec une vue exceptionnelle, panoramique sur la mer et la forêt. Bel endroit avec possibilité de balade le long de la mer. Hébergement qui se mérite néanmoins une forte côte, suivie d'une série de marche pour y accéder. Des bagages sont heureusement déposés par l'hôtel dans la chambre. Immergé dans la forêt, on entend tous les bruits des animaux de jour et de nuit, ce qui est magnifique."
