There's now a walking and bike path that runs completely around False Creek - from English Bay, past Yaletown, around the Science Center, and up to Granville Island and beyond. Great location for travel on foot, they have great compliments for your stay. It was the perfect room for a solo traveller! I would very much love to come back in the near future. :) Great customer service also makes a huge difference! The only thing is that you should call the motel to confirm anything from Expedia. When I did book, they didn't have the Continental that it said on the posting.
