The building is older in design for sure but after a couple of days this place really grew on me. The staff was super friendly and the gardens and pool are immaculate! They even offer bug spray and umbrellas free to guests which I thought was quite a charming and personal touch in this modern day. The shared kitchen became a social area both over breakfast and during evenings to chat with other travelers. There is a great micro brewery within walking distance as well as a few other restaurants and a grocery store. Obviously every one in Exmouth got there by car but I'd recommend walking to the microbrewery as they have several fine products to sample. Overall the place is pricey when compared to similar accommodations elsewhere however given the remoteness of Exmouth and the limited options and resources, I would not say rates are unreasonable.
