« Overall just an okay stay. Our room was not ready upon arrival at 9pm and no one seemed to care very much. There is not much beach to relax on and everyone stays near the pools. The food was good but the service was non-existent at times. At the very end when putting money in the community tip box the employee monitoring it saw me and as I said thank you to him for the stay all he could say was "Ok, goodbye". Not even a thank you for being tipped! »

« The hotel needs to improve the communication between the stuff and check that the amenities are always working inside and outside the property. Foods is excellent. The junior suite the rooms needs renew as well as the bathrooms. »

« I stayed at Backpackers before this is not backpacker anymore. Price of beer is $4 cocktail $8. Not eco anymore they have English toilets. Price of room is higher than nearby B&B. Everyone who was staying was complaining about the prices. This place used to be really nice and affordable and staff were friendly. Even new staff don’t seem to like working there. WiFi didn’t work at all so I couldn’t work. »

« This hotel has amazing potential and was probably once quite grand. The facilites are tired and in need of maintenance and updates. We were there out of season so it was very quiet and the staff seemed a little challenged in knowing what to do. The beach is great and the grounds are super. I would stay here again but I’d check my room and test the shower before settling on my room. »

« Lovely setting - nice touch having flowers on the bed and turn down service. The units all look inwards to the pool which was used regularly by us. At night the pool has lights and makes for a romantic swim. There was no jug to make tea or coffee or facilities to cook yet there was a fry pan, pots and dishes. Even microwave would have been useful. The restaurant wan't operational - we would have used it. Breakfast was delivered to the room daily and was good. »
