Close enough to Gatlinburg and far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the all the tourists type things. The cabin was very accommodating, very well maintained, cleaned and stocked. We were excited about it being so close to the creek, we love the water sounds but It was closer to the highway than we anticipated there was a lot of noise from the traffic, so it drowned out the water sounds..,, it wasn't a deal breaker.
