Un havre de paix en Toscane
Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable à la Villa di Piazzano... nous aurions vraiment souhaité rester plus longtemps ! Le service de l’hôtel comme du restaurant est très gentil, attentionné et disponible. Le lieu est sublime... Une grande demeure chargée d’histoire, au milieu des vignes, où la vue du coucher de soleil est incroyable ! Ne la ratez pas ! Vous ne serez pas dérangés par les voisins, l’insonorisation des chambres est très bonne, le lieu est vraiment idéal pour se reposer. La piscine est très agréable par temps chauds. Des transats et parasols sont disposés tout autour, sans que vous ne soyez les uns sur les autres. Des draps de bain sont prêtés par l’hôtel. La chambre où nous avons résidé est très spacieuse, composée d’un grand lit très confortable, un bureau, deux fauteuils, une armoire dressing, une télévision. Salle de bain fermée, avec douche/baignoire et WC, spacieuse également. Propreté impeccable, cependant vous êtes à la campagne, alors pensez à baisser le volet moustiquaire si vous ouvrez la fenêtre pour éviter des intrus. Le restaurant est délicieux avec un service haut de gamme sans faute. Nous avons très bien dîné. Petit-déjeuner très bon également, frais et suffisant en quantité. Merveilleux hotel en pleine toscane,
Plein de charme, on se croiserait dans une belle maison de famille,chez soi Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel, nous y avons passe 2 jours, d une chambre standard, nous avons été surclassé( la décoration de la chambre était raffiné avec une jolie vue) Tout était parfait, en plus du personnel très attentionné. Magique!!

This property was amazingly beautiful! The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. Food was wonderful and we enjoyed all of our meals on property. One caution, we each had a massage and it was very poorly done. Not relaxing.

A stunning family run hotel
From the moment we drove up to this wonderful hotel we knew that it was going to be very spoiling, stunning location with the hilltop view of Cortona and wonderful sunsets. The gardens were amazing and the staff were so helpful and we met the owner who was delightful. Definitely we will return.

We booked a superior room and were given a corner room in the villa on the 1st floor. It was a beautiful room. Service is impeccable, staff are welcoming, super friendly and helpful. The room receives a second refreshing, water is replaced daily in the room, the wi fi is great. Housekeeping is fantastic - can't say enough good things about the staff. Breakfast is brought to the table and it is superb. Overall loved our 3 nights. As an aside, if you're lucky you will get to meet Jack the Border Collie (a very smart and fun dog).

We had a wonderful 1 week stay at Villa di Piazzano. The grounds / setting right in the countryside were breathtaking with beautifully manicured gardens. The staff were lovely and attentive. We loved spending slow days by the pool and eating al fresco in the courtyard. Facilities were very clean and well cared for - they even have a little gym which was great. We stayed in the Studio Passerini room which had gorgeous architectural / interior details and had one of the best views on the property. Loved our stay and were sad to leave thank you!

Fue una grata sorpresa este hotel. Todo en perfecto estado, muy limpio y el personal muy cordial. La habitación excelente, cama muy cómoda, sábanas de primera calidad. La comida del restaurante también muy bien. Está algo lejos de Cortona, pero teniendo auto se llega en 10 minutos. Perfecto para descansar.

Beautiful property but sad place-Stay elsewhere!!!
When we first arrived at the property, we were amazed at the beauty of the area and grounds. The villa itself is beautiful-traditional Tuscany farm style with an elegant aesthetic throughout. However, there were several areas that could have been improved. The good: 1) Large rooms with elegant furnishings and excellent air conditioning (we were there when it was 90 degrees!) 2) Beautiful outdoor pool with plenty of space to lounge and spread out 3) Close to many areas in the Umbria and Tuscany areas. A good base for exploring The bad: 1) Some of the staff were rude and did not try to accommodate their guests. For example, we arrived around 7:00 pm. We were told that dinner was not available to us (we had been driving from northern Italy) because they were fully booked. However, when my husband looked at the tables, there were several openings. Having traveled all over the world, we have never been a guest at a hotel and not accommodated. This was disappointing. 2) The vibe is very depressing. It is quiet; too quiet. No one smiling, no one talking (guests, staff, etc) it was almost like being in a setting for a retirement home. When on vacation, I like to have fun. This hotel was not the place for that. 3) Parking is strange-we had a rental car and when we returned after visiting the nearby town of Cortona, there was no parking on the property. My husband parked next to the villa only to have a staff member come out and harass him to move. He was rude.

Dear Guest, Although I met you personally at the time of departure, I would like to take this opportunity to reply to your review and also give you some feedback on some of the comments you made. I spoke to our night auditor to ascertain what happened in the evening when you were parking your car. He advised me that he parked your car for you because you had left it in a non designated area blocking the passage. He did not realize at any stage that he had been rude, or that you had perceived him as such, and even said that you stopped to chat with him. We have two parking areas and enough spaces for all our guests. I then proceeded to speak to our Front Desk staff member who welcomed you and advised you that our restaurant was full for the evening, but again she was not placed in a condition to understand your disappointment. You simply replied in a nonchalant manner that you were planning to go into Cortona for the evening. We had sent you a pre stay email encouraging you to book a table if you wanted to stay, but you never replied and arrived when the restaurant service had already begun and all tables had been reserved. If there is an issue we are happy to address it, but we need to be placed in a position to understand that there is in fact a problem to begin with. We did not see you during your short stay with us, not even during breakfast, as you spent most of the time in your room only ordering room service. Lastly, I would agree with you that the property is quiet and tranquil and this is the main reason guests choose to stay with us. We are not, however, sad. On the contrary, we have a very nice team of professionals who are very service oriented and who are very attached to their work place. Our returning guests often mention that it is nice to find the same team over the years and always commend us for our service. It is a shame that what we offer just did not work for you.
