Villa in 2 Acres: Large Heated Private Pool; 360 deg. Stunning Views; Free WIFI

"The villa was lovely with outstanding views and an excellent heated pool. It is remote but we enjoyed that and found plenty to do nearby, drove further up into the mountains to look at the lakes and villages, drove to Lucca for the day which was amazing and parked right outside the walls, went to Equi Terme the caves were closed but the village is quirky and we could still walk right up to the cave entrance. Spent quite a lot of time just at the villa enjoying the views and the pool. All the bedrooms had a fan which was much appreciated in the heat and a well equipped kitchen for cooking and eating outside. Ate inside one evening due to a thunderstorm and as a previous review said it is a little cramped for a family of 5 but nothing to worry about. Track upto the villa is steep but again nothing to worry about for the average driver. The views make up for the effort as they are truly incredible. Would love to return."

"We had a wonderful stay, thank you to Martina and the whole family for their warm, caring welcome, for their help when needed and the daily cleaning of the pool.The house is exactly as it looks in the photos and very clean. And the garden is amazing with the view on the forest and the mountains, I already miss it !We discovered a truly beautiful area, went to Pise, the Cinque Terre... We highly recommend this place. It takes a little effort to get there because of the many small roads, but it is incredibly peaceful and relaxing !"

"Unser Aufenthalt in Borsigliana war traumhaft. Das komplett renovierte, modern und mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattete Ferienhaus hat alles, was man für einen entspannten und erholsamen Urlaub benötigt (moderne Küche mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünschen kann, gemütliches Wohnzimmer, Kamin, zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei Badezimmer, toller Aussenbereich mit Plunge-Pool zum Abkühlen, schöner Terassenbereich zum Sitzen und die Seele baumeln lassen und eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf die umgebenden Berge). Es gibt sogar einen kleinen Kräutergarten mit Rosmarin, Minze, Salbei, Oregano, etc. Unsere Gastgeber Marta und Roberto waren sehr gastfreundlich, jederzeit ansprechbar mit vielen tollen Empfehlungen für Unternehmungen und Tipps für Restaurants und die Kommunikation per WhatsApp oder persönlich einwandfrei. Das Haus liegt sehr ländlich, man hört nur die umliegenden Wälder, die Kirchglocken und ab und zu mal einen Hund oder Traktor. Die zum Ferienhaus führende Straße ist relativ schmal, war aber für unseren VW Touran geeignet. Zum nächsten Supermarkt benötigt man ca. 10 min mit dem Auto. Wir waren als Familie mit 2 Kindern und Hund da und hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit. Wir wünschen Marta und Roberto alles Gute für die Zukunft und viel Erfolg für ihre weiteren Vorhaben. Sollte uns der Weg nochmals in die Toskana führen, kommen wir gerne wieder!"

"Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns bei Paolo, der sich vor Ort außergewöhnlich um uns gekümmert hat. Egal welches Anliegen wir hatten, er war jederzeit hilfsbereit und sofort zur Stelle. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns sein Einsatz während eines schweren Unwetters: Bereits um 5 Uhr morgens war er auf dem Grundstück unterwegs, um nach dem Rechten zu sehen und sicherzustellen, dass es uns gut geht. Dieses Engagement ist alles andere als selbstverständlich. Trotz der Sprachbarriere funktionierte die Kommunikation per Übersetzer problemlos. Auch Lorrain und Maria waren jederzeit freundlich, hilfsbereit und auf Englisch schnell erreichbar. Das große, gepflegte Grundstück mit dem privaten Pool ist ein echtes Highlight. Wer absolute Ruhe sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Man kann die Natur genießen, bis spät draußen sitzen und niemanden stören. Die Anfahrt erfolgt über schmale Straßen, war mit unserem Škoda Kodiaq aber problemlos möglich. Ein kleiner Conad ist in ca. 6 Minuten erreichbar, größere Supermärkte liegen etwa 30 Minuten entfernt. Die Einrichtung ist etwas älter, aber gepflegt und vollständig ausgestattet. Lediglich der Grill könnte erneuert werden, da er recht verrostet ist, aber weiterhin gut funktioniert. Insgesamt ein traumhafter Urlaub mit außergewöhnlich herzlichen Gastgebern. Vielen Dank an Paolo, Lorrain und Maria – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!"

"Dejligt hus til mange mennesker. Ligger afsides med en fantastisk udsigt og rolige omgivelser. Skønt med middag ved langbordet udenfor. Ingen mangler ved køkkenudstyret.Sengene/madrasser trænger til udskiftning.Kunne bruge en rensning af poolen midt på ugen. Temmelig klorholdig.Vi nød opholdet."

"We had the most amazing stay at Palazzo del Duca! Mirella and Francesco were incredible hosts from start to finish. Their communication was excellent, and they went above and beyond to help organize everything on our wedding day, making it completely stress-free.Mirella prepared an absolutely delicious wedding meal that our guests are still talking about, and Francesco’s wine tasting was such a fun and memorable experience. The villa was the perfect place for our families to relax, spend time together, and celebrate. The rooms were charming, the area was beautiful, and we truly loved every minute of our stay.We already miss it and can’t thank Mirella and Francesco enough for making our wedding and vacation so special. We would recommend Palazzo del Duca to anyone without hesitation!"

"Hotel is outstanding, it’s over 500 years old and it’s immaculate, food was great, very quiet, first time we have ever stayed in a Palace, room was large with a King bed. My only criticism is that it doesn’t have a true shower. Staff were so polite and accommodating ….we loved the place. Shout out to Lucia who checked us in made us feel so welcome. Appreciated Irina’s help this morning on the check out. "
