PROPERTY OVERVIEW This fun newly constructed 2BR/2BA cottage is a beachcomber’s dream, featuring a screened porch, covered parking under a carport, a gourmet kitchen, and bright coastal decor throughout. ‘South Pearl Sailfish,’ as this retreat is affectionately known, is located just a short walk from the bay and close to Rockport’s premier restaurants and attractions. Our home has many Sailfish in and outside of the home. LIVING AREAS The well-appointed living room offers the perfect gathering space for your group. Stretch out on the queen-size sleeper sofa and two armchairs to watch a movie on the 42” flat screen TV. All furnishings in the home are brand-new. KITCHEN & DINING Indulge your inner chef in the fully equipped kitchen with brand-new stainless steel appliances. A convenient spice rack and olive oil are provided to get your culinary adventures off on the right foot. The kitchen is also stocked with a starter supply of amenities: such as dish soap and paper towels. When it’s time to eat, gather around the dining room table with seating for four. A breakfast bar offers additional seating for two. BEDROOMS & BATHS This home sleeps up to six guests in two bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Two bathrooms are stocked with a complimentary starter supply of toiletries and bath amenities. A king bed and a 32” TV outfit the stylish master bedroom. The en-suite master bath provides a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and a second bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower. OUTDOOR AREAS Spend lazy afternoons sipping refreshing beverages on the screened front porch. A lounge area features two wicker love seats, while a dining table has seating for six. Out back on the patio you’ll find a smoker for barbecuing burgers or preparing the catch of the day. EXTRA AMENITIES Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and parking for two cars and a boat in the driveway. THE LOCATION Rockport is a beach town in every sense of the word. Walk just 7 minutes from your front door to the surf and sand, or take a short drive to explore Rockport Beach Park or take the family to the Texas Maritime Museum, the Aquarium at Rockport Harbor, or the Rockport Art Center. Drive just 3 minutes or walk 15 minutes to downtown Rockport, to check out the coffee shops, restaurants, and art galleries. \*\*Due to the location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. The cottage seems to be brand-new (possibly a new build after Harvey), and is laid out well. Two bedrooms, each with a large bed, and each with their own spacious bathroom. A comfortable combined living room opening into the kitchen. Just enough kitchenware to do up some simple meals. Screened-in front porch facing west. Large carport so that we could park in the shade, and a hose in the driveway so we could wash sand off before coming in. Great location, very close to restaurants both in Rockport/Fulton and toward Aransas Pass. Quiet, safe neighborhood. The cockroaches especially come out at night. We were traveling with a medically fragile child that needed to social distance or we would have moved out. But needless to say, I would \*not\* recommend this place to others until they fix the cockroach infestation. ##### Douglas M.
