Come in and cool down in the central air conditioning, then pour yourself a beverage from the minibar and set up a game of pool on the billiards table. From there, head out to relax on the deck or climb the stairs to the furnished upstairs balcony. Grill fans will love cooking out on the built-in outdoor kitchen overlooking the water, with plenty of counter space to prep all your favorite dishes. The full kitchen (all set up with a French door refrigerator, double oven, and breakfast bar) lies on the second floor, and the remote work-ready office lies in the garage. Rinse off in the outdoor shower if you're coming off a swim, and feel free to light up the firepit as the sun goes down. Waterfront life never felt so fun before. Step through the front door and enjoy a beautiful mural! When you're ready to find the first bedroom, you won't have far to go - it's just to the right past the foyer. The second bedroom lies just past the living room, at the end of the hallway on the left. This room features extra seating with a front yard view, and the full bathroom next door features a standalone shower. The rest of the bedrooms are on the second floor - turn left at the top of the stairs to find the third bedroom at the end of the hall, next to a full bathroom with a shower/tub combination and double sinks. The fourth and final bedroom of the home lies to the right of the top of the stairs, all the way past the kitchen. This is the main bedroom of the home and features a private entrance to the upstairs balcony, plus a grand en suite bathroom with two vanities and a standalone shower. Every bedroom in this home features a ceiling fan for guest comfort. Overall the stay was great, there are a few things that could have made it excellent. Location is beautiful, amenities were good. The exterior doors were terrible - they don’t shut on their own and locking them is cumbersome but you get the hang of it after while. A few things could be tidier and dusting the light fixtures would really be great. The dumb waiter was awesome and made groceries a breeze. My husband and I with our dogs had the upstairs while another couple and 6 yr old and tiny dog stayed downstairs. We would just put a baby gate at the top of the stairs so the dogs weren’t rough housing wrestling. Having the master bedroom with its own exit to the balcony and stairs down to the perfect yard was so easy. The outside area was fantastic with the gas fire pit and full kitchen, we bbq fajitas and stayed warm or would hop inside to play a game of pool! All the reviews said there weren’t any towels so we brought extra but they had 4 towels in every bathroom. The kitchen only had one but we had everything else we needed. We never even left the house all weekend accept to walk the downtown shops. The showers worked great, the beds were comfy and the neighborhood was so quiet! Loved the view on the canals too. If it had been warmer I’d have taken the kayaks out. There was even a spare small table the kid could lay out his toys and coloring on so we always had the large table for games and dinner. Again, such a great layout! The rental company checked in to make sure we were happy and assisted with a late checkout which we were soooo grateful for! It could be a fantastic vacation rental but unfortunately, corners were cut in areas that shouldn’t be cut. Limited supply in towels(low quality), very low quality bedding(no comforter or heavier top cover…only light weight sheets. The downstairs bathroom shower floor pan was cracked so we were unable to use it. After a long trip down to Rockport, we hoped to arrive and not have to run to the store right away. No spices, coffee, etc. the house has great potential, but just isnt there yet. ##### Katie S. Key Allegro is a clean, quiet community that is close to restaurants and HEB for groceries. Beyond the convenience and great neighborhood, the house was very clean, spacious and comfortable. With a patio out back overlooking the canal with wonderful sunrise and sunset views, it was also fun to have fishing right out the backdoor plus outdoor kitchen. The pool table downstairs provided lots of entertainment for my family as well. There was an extra ice maker and refrigerator downstairs which added more convenience. Overall, my family and I really enjoyed staying here. ##### Nick R. However, when we arrived, there was no toilet paper, no paper towels, or tissue of any sort. There was no garbage can on the upper level in amy room including the kitchen. No trash bags. This house is managed by Vacassa. Very difficult communication with them. Could not get in with the code given to my husband. ##### Ann H. Initial issue was a missing hair dryer but local person brought one which was great. If you care about towels, bring your own. They do the bare minimum for towels here, I’d expect this quality in prison. The biggest issue was ants. I have never seen so many ants at once in a house. The property person came and spayed, which was great. They were pouring out from the outlets on the backsplash and she was going to get pest control out….we spent two more nights without pest control coming and I was terrified to put any food on the counters. She said someone would at least bring by ant traps….never happened either. Worst experience with a rental ever. Thank goodness everything was great and we had a good time. I will have nightmares about those ants though. She said they would refund my cleaning fee….we shall see if that happens. I think we deserve more than that. ##### Bianca H. (Some chairs on upstairs balcony would be nice, though, as bar stools aren’t comfy for lounging.) There’s even a dumb waiter unit in garage that helps get things upstairs, coming out in the kitchen!
