WEATHER Cancellation Policy: -> -> While we understand that unpredictable weather, including tropical storms, may not be the ideal travel times, we still operate as usual during inclement weather. As such, we do not offer refunds outside of our normal cancellation policy for bad weather conditions. However, should there be a mandatory local or state evacuation order issued for our area, with the need to cancel, please contact VRBO first to discuss their policy agreed to during the booking process.
If there is a loss of power for a prolonged period of time, we will refund the affected nights.
If our home is damaged and we can not offer accommodations, we will of course refund those affected nights.

SunRise 'n Shine property was absolutely beautiful! Perfect location to enjoy Corolla beach. The beach entrance is only 1 minute drive and the pool is only a few steps fom the front door. The home is stocked with everything we needed to enjoy the beach and the pool. The owners are very responsive to messages and extremely helpful. Very spacious home for our family of 5.

Loved the location and wild horses
With the 4x4 Corolla beach access only 1 mile away from the condo, we were so fortunate to see quite a few horses on the beach, which had been on our bucket list for many years. The sunrises and sunsets are also so easy to walk to from the condo (as well as some great food and shopping next door). The 2 story layout and good size of the condo is perfect for multiple families or friends and it was in outstanding condition (seemed practically brand new). Our hosts had everything there that you'd want in your home. We spent time at the Whalehead Museum and Currituck Lighthouse right next door, which we'd highly recommend to others. The heated community pool and seating/lounging area were amazing, with lots of room to spread out. Cabanas were available for rent if you prefer full shade and extra amenities. We can't wait to come back again, and would pick SunRise 'n Shine for sure!

Would definitely stay here again. The unit was very clean, the bedrooms are good sized, the kitchen is fantastic. The patio table has ample seating for 6 and well lit for an evening meal together. There are shops adjacent to the property & a nice little Taco & Margarita bar at the entrance. We did not use the community pool, but it is very nice and has cabanas you can rent if interested. The host has provided just about anything you may need. Check in & out were both very easy. Enjoy your stay, We DID !!!

Great OBX Vacation
We have come down to the Corolla area during our summer vacation for a number of years but this is the first time we have been there with a smaller group. This location was perfect for our family and in an area that we were very familiar with.
The house was exactly as described in the pictures and very clean and well kept. Everything is first class and exceeded our expectations! The pool and fitness center is very close although we spent most our time on the beach which was only about a 5 minute walk.
The last thing I will say is that the owners were exceptional and followed up with us a couple times during our stay to ensure there were no issues and we had everything we needed. We will definitely be looking to come back next year for a longer stay!

Home Away From Home
From the moment we stepped inside this rental it felt like home! The place is immaculate and is beautifully maintained. The owners thought of everything that we could have possibly needed. It is only a five minute walk to the beach and the pool is only a stone’s throw away. We look forward to returning in the future.
