There are shops adjacent to the property & a nice little Taco & Margarita bar at the entrance. We did not use the community pool, but it is very nice and has cabanas you can rent if interested. This location was perfect for our family and in an area that we were very familiar with. The house was exactly as described in the pictures and very clean and well kept. Everything is first class and exceeded our expectations! The pool and fitness center is very close although we spent most our time on the beach which was only about a 5 minute walk. The last thing I will say is that the owners were exceptional and followed up with us a couple times during our stay to ensure there were no issues and we had everything we needed. Sep 7, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Loved the location and wild horses With the 4x4 Corolla beach access only 1 mile away from the condo, we were so fortunate to see quite a few horses on the beach, which had been on our bucket list for many years. The sunrises and sunsets are also so easy to walk to from the condo (as well as some great food and shopping next door). The 2 story layout and good size of the condo is perfect for multiple families or friends and it was in outstanding condition (seemed practically brand new). Our hosts had everything there that you'd want in your home. We spent time at the Whalehead Museum and Currituck Lighthouse right next door, which we'd highly recommend to others. The heated community pool and seating/lounging area were amazing, with lots of room to spread out. Cabanas were available for rent if you prefer full shade and extra amenities. We can't wait to come back again, and would pick SunRise 'n Shine for sure! ##### Neil S.
