Corolla Sunset is a 7 bed (3 Masters), 5.5 bath Semi-Oceanfront home with a Private Pool, Hot Tub, and newly updated game room! Located in the Villages at Ocean Hill, less than 1/2 mile before the paved road ends and the 4x4 beach begins, this home gives you the chance to explore the Currituck Banks Reserve - home of the famous Corolla Wild Horses - without needing a 4 wheel drive vehicle. For those with a 4x4 planning to spend their days exploring Carova, you can air down before leaving the house! The back deck features views of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse and the wilderness of the reserve. Beach access is just 3 houses away. The house has 3 King beds, 2 Queen beds, a room with a Twin and Full, and a Bunk room with a Twin over Full custom built-in bunk. We strive to have the CLEANEST home in all of Corolla, with guests often remarking on the cleanliness upon their arrival. Many of reviews explicitly mention this! Recent Updates include: \- Complete exterior renovation including new roof, new siding, new windows, new sliding doors, and new decks. \- Installed under deck rain collection to convert the lower level decks to covered spaces. \- Completely new kitchen and kitchenette with enhanced layout, custom cabinets, quartz counters, new appliances, and tile backsplash. \- Replaced 3 showers with custom tile and glass doors. \- New Polywood chaise lounges with cocktail tables by the pool \- New Polywood outdoor table with 6 dining chairs on the 3rd level deck \- New Samsung Smart TVs \- All new lighting, including ceiling fans and light fixtures throughout the home (dining room, bathrooms, over the pool table, etc) \- All new vanities, lights, mirrors, and fixtures in every bathroom. \- Added an additional window in the Gameroom to increase natural light. \- Installed new Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring throughout the majority of the house - all common areas and 1st and 3rd floor bedrooms \- Replaced all mattresses \- Replaced carpet in 2nd floor bedrooms \- Installed a pool heater for the Spring and Fall shoulder season The Villages at Ocean Hill is the northernmost community in Corolla accessible by 2 wheel drive. Amenities include two swimming pools, an ocean front snack bar, basketball, tennis, and Pickleball courts, and a fitness center (fee required). Just outside of the neighborhood is the Currituck Banks Reserve Maritime Forest Trail - a 0.3 mile boardwalk leading to a sound front deck as well as a 0.75 mile hiking trail through the forest. A short bike ride of just over a mile down a pedestrian path you'll find the Historic Corolla Park where you can climb the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, tour the historic Whalehead Club, visit the The Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education or the new Maritime Museum, or watch the sunset over the sound. Corolla Sunset is a wonderful beach house that comfortable houses a large family, with lots of per-room bathrooms, and space for activities. The beach walk is very short, and with the Corolla horses reserve another short walk beyond that. One standout, is how clean this property is. We have very high standards, such that we often do additional cleaning when we initially stay somewhere. Immaculately clean. Well stocked kitchen. Two large refrigerators was a bonus. Very easy walk to the beach. Beautiful pool area. The house was nicely decorated and the furnishings were clean. Greg, the property manager is great! He was very helpful from the beginning to the end. House is very well appointed. Kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes, glasses, utensils and pots/pans. Beds were very comfortable. We did not have the best weather so we used the pool and hot tub a lot. Pool table was also a lot of fun. We would stay here agin. ##### Lisa G. The house was amazing and Greg was so easy to work with. The weather wasn’t the greatest, but there was so much to do at the house we still enjoyed our time. It was also a great place for my 12 month old, not that the house is specific to that, but I didn’t have to stress about her breaking everything in sight. Greg deserves more than 5 stars for communication.The walk to the beach was easy and the wide boardwalk made it all easier.The 4x4 beach is only yards away and during my early morning walks I saw horses (and baby) several times. We loved staying at this property for multiple reasons. The location to the beach is perfect (such a short walk which was great for going back for bathrooms or food). The size of the house was perfect for 12– and we could spread out. There’s also many balconies and areas to sit and relax. Lastly we loved being able to come back from the beach and enjoy the pool and hot tub! The owners are very responsive to all questions as well. Don’t miss this one! Beautiful home ##### Amy E. The house it beautifully updated and we loved the location, just a few houses to the beach entrance and close to the 4x4 beaches.
