"Summit Lake Lodge is a beautiful place to stay! Surrounded by beautiful grounds and a pristine Lake. It is so clear you can see through to the bottom and it offers free kayaking! The rooms are very updated but with a rustic feel. The staff is wonderful! It is a family-owned in operated place and it feels very welcoming. The free breakfast in the morning is awesome! It is a full breakfast"

"Plenty of space in the unit we stayed in. The place is older but very clean and comfortable. Extra towels available for our group. Plenty of places for fishing nearby and their freezer space was convenient. Will be back in the future."

"We had a great time at this cabin. We rented the River and Bear cabin when we had family in town. Everyone had a good time. Very relaxing. There were a lot of bald eagles nearby, up to four at one point. My kids enjoyed fishing in the river. The fireplace overlooking the river was amazing, and the decks really let you relax and soak in the scenery. "

"Had to check in at a different location, miles away. Directions for check said " they would e-mail directions for check in". That e-mail never showed up. A note on the entry door said "call to check in. When called the receptionist said we had to come back into town to another hotel to check in. This would not have been a problem if they had told us before we got to the lodge."

"We had a great time staying at these cabins. We rented the Bear and River cabins since we had family in town from Georgia. Everyone had a great time. It was very relaxing with great views of the Kenai River. The kids enjoyed fishing in the river, and we had several Bald Eagles hanging out nearby (up to four at one point). The cabins had plenty of space for everyone. Loved the fire pit overlooking the river."
