"This is a 1905 Victorian farmhouse (ie 1905 Victorian in middle of farm 😆). Beautiful, serene that takes you back in time. Only note is that there are 2 bathrooms for the 4 bedrooms - again house from 1905… well kept and they had a great library if you wanted to checked out plants/birds/mushrooms/etc… for the area. Marsha was great and had lots of suggestions. We’ll plan a longer stay next time. Photo was shot from balcony next to our room."
"This quiet getaway was exactly what we were looking for, two days of peace and quiet with a little bit of hiking and sightseeing. The wrap around porch provided a great place to meditate, the living space was quite comfy, and the cabin was stocked with all the basics for grilling and cooking. Check-in and check-out was a breeze! Our favorite part was the shower, very unique and that our dogs felt welcomed ( they settled in quickly and enjoyed the stay as much as we did). We would stay again and recommend to others. Brian H."
"Never stayed in a place quite as serene, tranquil, isolated, and relaxing. Two teenagers in tow with us interacted with the horse and the cats and just unwound with my wife and me after hiking all around. Perfectly situated for Blackwater State Park and Seneca Rocks.
Owners were easy to follow with instructions and expectations. Not over the top like some rental places. Also, the rental was direct through Expedia, so no hidden fees from some third party or even fourth party like we have seen with some other properties as we did our road trip this summer.
Already planning to come back.
This was the last stop on our summer road trip and was the very best."

"It was a very peaceful stay. It was minutes from local attractions. Enjoying the local restaurants Sirianni's, and Smoke on the water, to name a few. If u would like to a couple days and enjoy the scenery "Golden Anchor cabins" is the way to go. We are looking forward to staying again!"
"We enjoyed staying in the Royale cabin for our 25th anniversary. It was beautifully decorated and comfortable for relaxing. It was centrally located for our planned excursions. The hosts left a binder full of nearby activities and restaurant recommendations that was very useful in planning our daily adventures. Our favorite was (host recommended) Big Run Falls. They were very specific with directions to locate this remote waterfall. It was a challenging, yet fun adventure. We would love to return someday! "
