New holiday home with fireside, central heating, palm trees and pool

"Just completed our seven week stay in what can only be described as a tropical oasis! We are an elderly couple celebrating our golden wedding anniversary at the Finca.Hosts Heinz and Wolfgang have become great friends and have been the most considerate, attentive and kind guys we've ever met.The Finca was amazing and access perfect, the grounds extend beyond the fencing and are maturely planted with a beautiful array of palm trees, fruit trees, cacti etc. Viewing areas all around providing beautiful vistas across the Rio Sayalonga taking in the pueblo blanca of Competa and the Tajeda mountain range.The facilities were marvellous and the heated pool and hot tub a real bonus, surrounded by decorative mature potted shrubs and lovely outdoor stone furniture with a traditional BBQ, charcoal and chimney etc., much more authentic than a gas one!Electronics including the audio systems out on the terrace as well as in the home and extensive TV and WiFi. This wonderful home from home is set in the most sheltered and peaceful area, yet there are many local facilities close by and further more extensive malls etc. a short journey away in Algorrabo Costa or Velez Málaga.We've visited Axarquia for a number of years, taking mountain villas with stunning locations but can honestly say our stay here in 2026 is the most memorable and enjoyable ever and a huge thank you to our amazing hosts.My wife is a wheelchair user and access for her was great. Thanks again Heinz and Wolfgang x"

"This is a wonderful little villa, the views are fantastic and its so peaceful. It has everything you need for a long break and we stayed a full month, you have a range of outdoor seating areas and its well equipped, we spent all our time outdoors and it was literally a 10 minute drive to Caleta or Torre del Mar where you have miles of wonderful promenade walks. Yes its a little of a hilly climb up from the Pueblo on a concrete road but perfectly driveable. The views from the terrace are amazing and the lights from the old Pueblo add a wonderful charm to the evening view, the people are warm, friendly and kind. Rosa and Antonio are so helpful, Antonio cleans the pool 1st thing in the morning every 2 days, Rosa is contactable at anytime and helped me find a clinic when I needed some medical help. We were surrounded by mango trees and Antonio left us mangoes by the basket full unbelievable flavour, it was the big cropping time. We are going back next year if we can. Perfect!"
