« What an idyllic place! Guests who wake with the roosters can admire cattle grazing peacefully in the mist in the hills behind the house. Friendly horses amble to the fence to greet you. Our dog was fascinated by the farm animals and loved walking the grounds.Upon arrival, we found a handwritten note from the hosts, who could not have been friendlier or more hospitable.The farmhouse is large, comfortable and extremely well-stocked. « We spent a long weekend at the cottage on our first trip to Lake Erie with an 8 year-old and 7 month-old in tow. This cottage was in a quiet location yet only a minute away from a great park and beach area with free parking. I loved the charm of the old cottage and spent a lot of time taking in the view of the lake from the screened in porch. It was clean and the host was great with communicating with us. We would definitely stay here again. It provided for a relaxing trip for us. »

« This was the second year staying at this property. The home is great. The owner was most accommodating and responded quickly to emails. Unfortunately the weather wasn't optimum to take advantage on the lake when we were not golfing or visiting with friends in the area. Will be staying here again next year and recommending it to other friends who would appreciate the quiet area and fishing the lake (especially if they have kids). »
