Perfectly nestled in a private area of our small farm, overlooking a pond and farm animals to keep you company. Howl at the Moon- Gore, New World Gore, and Nugget Point Lighthouse are just an hour's drive away from the tiny house. A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy water access, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers) for your use. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that there will be agricultural noise and tractor (or farm vehicle) noise coming down the gravel road, as we are a working farm with crops and animals. Please note that the site may be adjacent to neighbouring farmland, and kindly ask guests not to cross the boundary. Guest Access: Guests will have access to our cozy tiny home which has its own private driveway to and from the accommodation. For pre-orders, we have fresh eggs that can be collected with your breakfast by prior request with the host 24 hrs before arrival. The Neighborhood: Conical Hill Hideaway by Tiny Away sits in the quiet neighbourhood of Conica Hill - South Island New Zealand, just an hour from the nearest Dunedin. Enjoy fine dining, stunning countryside landscapes, and popular lookout points such as the Nugget Point Lighthouse with sea views, seals and penguin sightings. For essential visits, discover Four Square Tapanui or Gore New World. For dining and local spots, check out Howl at the Moon, Thomas Green Restaurant, Dolamore Park, and the Pomahaka River for fishing. Getting Around: By car: \- 20 mins, 30km drive from Gore \- 1hrs 45mins, 134km drive from Dunedin. All are reachable by 2WD and 4WD. By public transport: There is no public transportation. We recommend guests travel by private vehicle for easy access to and from our property. By plane: If you're traveling from Christchurch, the quickest option is to take a flight to Dunedin. Both Air New Zealand and Jetstar offer regular flights between Christchurch Airport (CHC) and Dunedin Airport (DUD), with a typical flight duration of around 1 hour. Upon arrival in Dunedin, you can opt for a KIWI cab or rent a car from a New Zealand car hire service. The fastest route to Christchurch is via State Highway 1 (SH1), which takes approximately 1 hour by car. On entering we discovered that there was no water available. We were eventually able to locate the source and turn the tap on. Next the toilet ceased to operate and the host tried to fix it to no avail. We were advised to bucket the water into the toilet prior to each use. That was fine until the toilet cassette became full to overflowing resulting in us having to urinate in the shower! Just as well we didn’t need to dedicate! The host sent me an email offering a “partial refund” which I haven’t responded to as I believe we should receive a “full refund”. It was a really nice spot and the host was extremely kind! We arrived way too late on accident and Rose still helped us find the accommodations. Google maps will take you to the farm address the actual accommodations are just beyond that right down the road. It was extremely clean, and a good place to stay. The views are gorgeous! The bed was comfortable and we overall enjoyed it. Be prepared there was a rooster that would start crowing before the sun was up but it’s a farm stay what more can you expect! ##### Samantha B.
