« This is a very cozy cottage with lots of outdoor spaces to take in the views. The host that lives next door has an extensive garden with hummingbird feeders all over. Also, there is no traffic around. It is very peaceful! The bed was very comfortable. There is no air conditioning, but you didn't need it! « We had a wonderful weekend stay. The apartment is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Bill was extremely accommodating and kind. The landscaping is absolutely beautiful and we just wish the weather had been a little warmer so that we could have enjoyed the patio more! »

« I was looking for a place for me and my 70 dog, Monkee, that was centrally located for some sightseeing in Monterey and Salinas, and I found it! Nestled between pine trees, Longhorn Steer (yes, you read that right), and lush greenery is a beautiful oasis. The place was clean, well-stocked and the large bed was comfy. Irene and Gary are wonderful hosts! I plan on sharing this secret hideaway with some friends of mine that are planning trips up the California coast. I will definitely stay here...

« Where should I start! We booked for three weeks and we only received one set of towels. Really! The bottom sheet on the bed was the wrong size or depth and we ended up sleeping on the plastic mattress cover. I went out and bought a set of sheets! We have family in the area So we borrowed towels from them. The drain in the shower got clogged and the owner asked us to clean it out. Apparently it must happen all the time and he has done nothing to correct the problem. The draw that the silverware...

« Our hosts were very accommodating from the start with our request for slightly early check in. Sorry for the trouble 🙂. We found the place had many unexpected conveniences like updated appliances (washer/dryer, dishwasher, compactor, etc) and more than enough supplied linens, towels etc. than we ever needed for for our 1 week stay. Super clean and the bed was comfortable too. They’re many special touches by like live plants and decorations made it feel like home to us. So, just what we needed...
