Are you looking for a quiet, peaceful, secluded place to get away from it all for a few days? THIS IS IT! Over three miles of walking trails available May through September 15\. Seniors discount; Military discount (active duty & retired); First responder discount (active duty & retired) Ask about others you would like us to consider. Three bedroom, two bath, fully furnished country hideaway overlooking a small lake. Free Wi-Fi for streaming services. Free Firewood For The Fire Ring! Free Propane! Three burner gas grill with utensils. No charge for propane. Grilling area is well lit for night-time use. Fishing available and basic fishing gear provided, but bring your own stuff if you like. No license required, live bait available nearby. We have a 10 ft. rowboat with oars, two pedal boats and two kayaks available. \*\*Kayaks and pedal boats are removed and stored during winter months. Swimming is permitted, but there are no lifeguards on duty. Life jackets provided free of charge. There is a Life Ring Buoy on the dock Fire ring with free firewood and roasting sticks available. Five foot round, metal patio table with four chairs located near fire ring area. Glass top patio table with chairs and umbrella on back deck. Glass top patio table with chairs and umbrella at the water's edge. \*\*Removed and stored during winter months. There is a Blink video doorbell installed on the front door and three outside Wi-Fi cameras, one on the north end of the house, one on the south end of the house, one on the west end (rear) of house, and one on the power pole. All cameras are in plain view. There are no other cameras or recording devices on the property. House is equipped with "Smart" thermostat, smart carbon dioxide and smoke detectors, smart wall plugs and smart front porch light. The thermostat is set for optimum efficiency and guest comfort. DO NOT move, remove, unplug, cover or disable ANY devices. House is wired for portable generator which is on-site and can be operational within about an hour. The generator will power the whole house except for furnace/AC and water heater. Please review our welcome guide and house rules before your arrival. Please note that we require the names and ages of all the guests in your party to be listed in the reservation, and you, as the renter, must be one of the guests and stay at our Lake House. The County Commissioners have established a .03% "Bed Tax" for all rental properties in the county. The amount for your stay will be included in correspondence sent to you soon after booking and again in the check-in instructions message sent approximately 2 days before your arrival. We recommend 4 WD or AWD. The driveway is steep with a limestone surface. You can make it without 4 WD, you'll just have to get a run at it when you come out. If there is snow or ice conditions, 4 WD or AWD will be required. Pet policy in full: Cats are Not permitted; one dog permitted but not over 20#; you must clean up after your dog and dispose of waste properly; dog must be kept on leash at all times outside; dog must be dried off if wet from swimming or is muddy; dog is not allowed on any furniture at any time; dog must not be left in the house alone, unless in a crate/kennel. Smart home devices; Do not unplug, turn off, move or remove any electronic devices. There are two sync modules in the living room and a 'smart' plug in each bedroom and living room. All of these devices are necessary for the safety and security of the house. The property is absolutely beautiful. House is clean and has everything you could possibly need without even having to ask. Driveway is best with true 4wd. This is a relaxing, nature filled sanctuary with beautiful grounds & most amazing reflective stocked pond. Any amenity you could imagine is already there, perfectly clean & the hosts offered extra treats of bottled water & snacks. The quiet location allows you to really just sit back and enjoy nature. We celebrated Dad's 94th birthday on our visit! Roger was easy to communicate with and wanted to make sure everything was perfect during our stay. Do not pass this up!!! ##### Tony C. We love it we enjoyed fishing, resting on the great porch watching the beautiful lake. The owner stocked the house with so many things that you don't need to bring anything except food. Spend a whole week here and hardly left the property. This house has everything you need from toys for the kids, fishing gear, tubes & water toys, bug spray (which I never really needed b/c I saw no mosquitoes and if they are around they will find me! Lol), lots of household goods, plenty of tp & paper towels, laundry soap, etc. All the pots and pans and kitchen utensils including an airfry, 2 types of coffee pots & coffee and tea. We cooked there all week and the only thing that you might want to bring are some spices otherwise just bring food, clothes and a toothbrush. Then sit back and relax on the front porch swing, my favorite place! Thanks again Roger & Mary for sharing your beautiful property, you truly have thought of everything! ##### Cari M. Lake was clean, great for fishing and swimming. Trails behind the house were loaded with pollinators and butterflies. My 7 year old son is a nature nut, and loved every bit of it. We hiked, swam in the lake, watched the humming birds on the porch and got a good night's sleep every night. More amenities than any other place I have been to. The only negative about the property is getting hit with an additional county tax that is not made apparent until after you book and pay.
