I requested an accessible room assuming that it would be like the one on the webpage for Expedia. The room I was given was unsuitable for our disability needs. I had to pay for a room upgrade as well as the Expedia room. I will go back to that hotel, but Expedia was a great disappointment.

We stayed in the king bed studio suite. This was perfect for our family of four. Plenty of space for a large pack/play and toddler air mattress. Would stay here again. Already looking for more homes to suites to book for future travel plans.

They have bed bugs. My daughter was eaten up while she was sleeping. She woke up with bite marks all over her face. This was the only hotel I stayed in when visiting Columbus. I am very disappointed.

Staff is extremely polite and accommodating. Hotel is clean and fairly quiet. Location is great, close to highway and surrounded by a lot of restaurants and stores.

"Full" kitchen is misleading
Warm welcome by the front desk attendee. Check-in was easy. The room was bright and comfortable, clean, warm and roomy. The "full" kitchen does NOT mean cook-in kitchen. There is a refrigerator, microwave, sink and dishwasher. DO NOT expect to be able to cook in the "full" kitchen from the room descriptions. Over all, nice space, kid friendly. Pool was small but the kids had plenty of fun.

Family Fun...we enjoyed our stay.
Friendly staff. Check in and check out was easy. Enough room for our family of 6. Only complaint was the room wasn't cleaned well. Dirty bottles left in room we had to clean up and had to wipe up the bathroom floor. Other than that our staywas nice and the kids enjoyed the pool.

Great dog friendly hotel.
Loved this hotel. Very convenient to the fairgrounds and very dog friendly. My dog felt at home immediately. She appreciated the treat from our check in host. Breakfast was great and the indoor pool was a bonus. I will definitively stay again when I am back in town. Dog fee was $75 which would be steep for 1 night but for 3 nights I feel it was appropriate. Nice dog walking area.

Most cars in parking lot had windows broken in the morning from thieves. The parking lot obviously is not monitored in any way. Unacceptable for me

Thank you for taking the time to submit a review of our hotel. It was an unfortunate situation that someone vandalized vehicles. We absolutely do monitor our parking lot with videos surveillance however we have taken the extra measure of adding On-site security to aid in protecting our guests and property. We hope that if you are in the area again you chose to make us your Home away from Home.

The hotel was clean and well-appointed for our needs. The issue we had was that 20 cars were broken into the Saturday night we stayed there. Though ours was not one of them, (thank goodness). From what we understand this was the 2nd time cars were broken into in 3 weeks. Make sure to take all valuables into your room and out of your car.

We loved that next door was a Mexican restaurant. My husband is a big fan! We loved the double room, with separate living room, for getting up in the middle of the night. We will not disturb our partner!! YAH!! The full size refrigerator was fabulous. We even had china and glassware. So nice! But our big complaint was the extremely tiny coffee maker that only allowed for a teabag size coffee. What are they thinking? They couldn't supply a regular K-Cup coffee maker? With all the luxuries they did supply for us, you would think they could at least supply a single serve K-cup coffee maker. This coffee maker was so bad, we couldn't even use it. I mean, it was a 2" X 2" tea bag!! The water ran out all over the counter.!!! Next time we're bringing our own K-Cup coffee maker. For $20.00? It would be worth it.

The sliding bathroom door was broken at check in. It would slide closed by itself. It was blocked from doing it by the trash receptacle when I entered the room. Very inconvenient! I reported it to the front desk and I was told that they would contact the main person. When we returned that evening it had not been repaired. I reported it again the next morning but it was never fixed. I also requested a bathroom refresh and additional towels, but that never happened. I was able to get the towels by going to the front desk. A very disappointing stay!

This hotel is poorly kept with the exception of the main lobby. We were not familiar with the city and we booked online. My husband, toddler and I stayed for 2 nights. My toddler was really looking forward to swimming in the pool but it was absolutely FILTHY! The pool conditions ruined our trip as we spent Saturday trying to find a public pool. I specifically called and asked was the pool open a week before booking because the pool and breakfast were two key selling points. I did not imagine I would need to ask if the pool was clean! The shower in our room was poorly kept, carpet needed cleaning and smelled like smoke and most of the dishes had not been properly cleaned. The breakfast was just ok, condiments were missing and brewed coffee was only available in the morning. I will not be staying here in the future. Please spend an extra $50 and stay somewhere else cleaner/nicer.

I found a COCKROACH
At first I was really happy with my experience. Check in was easy and the room seemed nice. Later in the evening of our first night (of 2) I spotted a cockroach crawling near the sink of the kitchen area. I alerted the staff, but they were unable to switch my room and did not offer any further consolation. That was really disappointing to say the least! Financially, I didn’t have a choice but to stay in the room; however, I no longer could feel relaxed or comfortable in there. Initially I planned to do more eating in my room, but that didn’t seem wise so I spent more than I planned eating takeout. On the bright side, I only spotted the one, but that certainly doesn’t mean that there weren’t more! Because of the roach I chose to sleep with quite a few lights on which wasn’t ideal for a good night’s sleep. Then, I discover that the pillows on the bed are the worst I have ever slept on. Very flat and unsupportive. Even with 3 of them I didn’t feel comfortable which led to a restless night of tossing and turning. The free breakfast is just OK. Very carb heavy options. Rubbery breakfast sandwiches, stale cereal. I’ve had better continental breakfast. Pool was decent. Area was clean and the saltwater is nice.
